Where does Buffy go?

The high school basement

It seemed too far to run all the way back home, thought Buffy, but look. There's a door on the side of the high school. A door that no students or teachers seem to be using. Judging from its appearance, it must lead to the high school basement. Perhaps she could wait there a while until Willow shows up.

As she opened the door, she realized that it was a door to the high school basement.

I should be safe down here, she thought as she closed the door behind her.

Then she realized that she was not only undressed but unarmed. She did not have any weapons with her in case she ran into a vampire. Not a stake nor a crossbow. Just herself.

But hey, it's daylight, she thought. I'm not likely to run into any vampires right no --

Then a voice that reminded her of movie star Minnie Driver said, "My, my. It looks like someone brought me an early Christmas present."

Oh, no, Buffy thought.

But as she turned, the owner of the familiar voice was already stepping out of the shadows.

"My, my, Buffy," the owner of the voice said. "It must be your birthday because you're obviously wearing what you Americans call 'your birthday suit.' Which is a good thing because you just know how much I love to celebrate your birthday."
