The gem on her forehead began to fluctuate.

A sudden, sharp pain pulsed on the surface of her forehead.

"AH! Fuck, what was that?"

Damian went to rub it when she felt the hot gem stuck there.

The gem seemed to radiate a searing heat that emanated from its center. Damian's brow furrowed in confusion and growing concern as the pain intensified.

"What's the deal with this thing?!" she muttered, her curiosity piqued.

Raven's powers were tied to her emotions, and she had a nagging suspicion that the gem was reacting to her own frustration.

A cold, menacing voice echoed in her mind, sending chills down her spine.

"Foolish child, do you think you can contain me?"

Damian recognized the voice almost instantly – it belonged to Trigon, Raven's demonic father. But why would Batman bother programming the demonic entity into the simulation as an NPC? What was the point in playing Raven anyway? The only offhand reason she could possibly think of would be to study metahumans more closely. A better understanding of every meta meant they'd be easier to take down. But did he really have to make the sim load him into Raven's body though?

Her boobs were distracting enough. Some angry demon nagging at her was the last thing she needed.

"Hey, Trigon, can you shut the hell up? I'm trying to figure some stuff out. Thanks."

Damian dismissed the demonic lord.

"GAHHH!"

Red power sparked from the gem, tasing Damian. She gripped her head, cringing in agony.

"Hmmm... There's something different about you daughter. Before, your will to keep me imprisoned was nigh impenetrable. Yet, now it seems you have lost focus..."

Trigon murmured, analyzing his "daughter's" behavior.

"I'm not your daughter, ugly. I'm not Raven! I'm not even a girl!"

Damian gestured to her body, frowning annoyedly.

Trigon's laughter filled Damian's mind as the demonic presence began to take control slowly.

"I see, a mere mortal trapped in my daughter's body. This is a delightful twist of fate."

Despite Damian's best efforts to resist, she found herself unable to leave Raven's room. She pounded on the door with her fists, but it refused to budge. She attempted to use Raven's powers to phase through the door, but her body was unresponsive to her commands.

"Let me out!"

Damian demanded, panic rising in her chest.

Trigon's sinister voice echoed in her head.

"I'm afraid I cannot allow that. Your body is weak and inexperienced with my daughter's abilities. It is the perfect vessel for my control!"

Images of a demonic Raven flashed through her mind.

As Damian struggled to escape the room, she felt Trigon's influence creeping into her mind, warping her thoughts and perceptions. The room grew darker, the shadows twisting into menacing shapes that seemed to close in on her.

"You cannot fight me, child. Your mind will crumble under my influence, and I shall have my freedom once more," Trigon taunted.

Damian gritted her teeth, determined not to let Trigon win. She knew that she had to find a way to break free of his control and escape the simulation.

Closing her eyes, she tried to focus on her memories, her life as Damian Wayne, and her training with Batman. She had been taught to resist mind control and manipulation, but she had never faced a threat quite like Trigon.

As her mind raced, she saw her objective update.
