The Ruined

Without hesitation, you head straight for the Shadow Isles, and start to consider the choices for a body to hop into that you would find there. The champions that Viego had bent to his will had all been Ruined for different reasons, whether it be guilt, anger, or even of their own "free" will. Their corruption had given them enhanced abilities, and a new appearance, themed after the Shadow Isles, that explicitly denoted them as under Viego's control. You couldn't help but wonder whether you would be immune to his influence if you possessed one of them, but... some part of you was actually curious to put that to the test.

Then again, you could also just jump the ladder and try to possess Viego himself, and then you'd technically have all of them under your control. "Would that even work?" you considered, "Possessing someone who's already an undead ghost?" Well, one way to find out.

As you reach a clearing amidst the twisted forests and shattered buildings of the Isles, you look around and see...
