The Nerd II

Missy was quite happy to file out of the auditorium at the end of the lecture, still having to brush past her sweaty and porn-viewing neighbor to get out of her row of seats. She didn't feel like returning straight to her dorm room, so she bought a cup of coffee at the Cozy Cup and found an empty bench underneath one of the trees that circled the central plaza. Lots of students were getting out of their final lectures of the day and were milling about, some talking in small clusters, others walking together, either to their dorms or to perhaps grab an early bite to eat. She sipped from her coffee and was happy to survey the scene from a distance, still getting used to the size of the school. The larger campus naturally meant a much larger student body, this university actually truly feeling like its own town.

She wasn't actually aware of the fact that a trio of guys who had already noticed her on her first day of arrival were nearby. One of them finally happened to glance in her direction, and prodded his friend in the ribs. "Hey look Matty, it's your girlfriend!" Matt glanced up as Charlie got his attention, his slightly mocking tone already telling him that the person he was referring to would be someone he hadn't a snowball chance's in hell with. Indeed, it was revealed to be the blonde all three of them had ogled the day prior, though only Matt had been caught staring. This time not wearing a pair of Daisy Dukes and a crop top, but a short Summer dress. "Damn, she is a dime... I wonder what her story is." It was Cade piping up, somehow annoying Matt in the process, though he couldn't say why his friends merely expressing that the girl was sexy was getting on his nerves. Was it jealousy?

Charlie shrugged at Cade's remark. "Her story is probably that she gets stuffed by frat boy and jock dick every night. That kind of equipment isn't for the likes of us, boys." As if she had been able to hear them, Missy finished the last dregs of her coffee cup and then dumped the go cup into the trash bin next to her bench. She rose up, straightened her dress and walked away, not even noticing the trio of guys sharing one of the park benches, the same three who had been staring so intently at her the day prior. Now all three followed her walk towards her dorm in silence. They now knew where she bunked down at night, not that this information was at all useless to them. A few minutes later, Missy was back at her room, with Elena having returned as well, glancing up from typing away on her laptop. "Oooh... you're back. So how was your first class? No regrets yet about having transferred?"
