The Curious Case of Linkle

Link went further ahead where he saw a blonde girl wearing a green tunic.

"You're that girl I saw in my dreams." Link said.

"A boy Gerudo?" the girl asked.

"I get that a lot. I'm that one in a century male Gerudo. My name's Link."

"I'm Linkle, reincarnation of the legendary hero."

Link could never follow how that worked. Was it the same Link reincarnating to save Hyrule or just multiple people who happened to be called Link? Either way he was pretty sure he was the real Link.

"So what are you doing here?" he asked.

"There is an evil man who killed the Great Deku Tree for Spiritual Stone. The Great Deku Tree sent me here to warn King Harkinian." Linkle said.

"Chief Tamon sent me to do the same thing. Wait, you're from the Kokiri Forest. Aren't the people there supposed to be ageless children. You are clearly an adult. And where's your fairy?"

"I just turned eighteen a few days ago," Linkle said. "For some reason I age like a Hylian. I remember growing up that everyone seemed to be about eleven years old. I was the youngest but as I grew up everyone else stayed the same age. Now I'm the oldest. I also never got a fairy. The other kids would pick on me for it."

The two went into the castle together.

"We're both been sent by Chief Tamon of Gerudo Town and the Great Deku Tree to warn King Harkinian of a plot to take over Hyrule." Linkle said.
