The Best Day of My Life

Throughout the whole ride, you couldn't help but feel something was off about Sara. She's usually trying to get on your nerves constantly throughout the day, but today she's...oddly quiet. Surprisingly, you found yourself strangely appreciating the absence of her usual antics, although you concern still lingered, especially considering my mother's reaction to what you did this morning.

You turned to face her but every time you do, she would turn away; blushing bright red.

As both you and Sara entered, you begun to noticed that everyone was staring at you. Especially the girls who had previously mocked you with the label of 'nerd' now regarded you with a newfound admiration, their eyes reminiscent of ones cast upon a Greek deity.

"Hey"

"Well hello stud~" Another one whispered

"Hey there," one of the girls called out, her voice filled with a newfound warmth.

"Um... hi," you responded, taken aback by the sudden attention.

The girl, who used to be part of the group that often teased you, approached with a curious smile. "You look different today. Did something happen?"

You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond to her unexpected kindness. "I'm not sure, to be honest. It's just been a strange day."

"Well, whatever it is, it suits you~" she said, her sincerity evident in her eyes.

Lost in the unexpected attention you were receiving, your mind wandered, and you didn't notice the person in front of you. In a moment of carelessness, you collided with them, causing their books to scatter and clatter onto the cold, metallic floor.

Startled, the person looked up at you, their initial annoyance fading into surprise. A hush fell over the surrounding area as the onlookers observed the encounter.

"Hey, watch where you're going! I could have-" their words trailed off abruptly as their gaze met yours. Their expression softened, and an air of curiosity replaced their frustration.

As you turned to see who you had collided with, a familiar face greeted you in awe. It was Sara's ever-annoying friend, Lily; she's known for her mischievous nature and relentless teasing. Both your and her eyes locked for a moment, her initial irritation fading into an intrigued expression.

Sara, who had been standing nearby, stared at your intertwined hands, her eyes widening with surprise. "Lily, what are you doing?" she asked, her voice laced with a mixture of concern and disbelief.

Lily's eyes sparkled mischievously as she grinned. "Just making sure he's okay after that collision, Sara. We wouldn't want him getting hurt, would we?"

Confusion flickered across my face as you glanced at Lily, trying to decipher her motives. Her actions seemed out of character, and I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to her sudden change in behavior than what met the eye.

Sara's brows furrowed, and she shook her head slightly, as if trying to comprehend the situation unfolding before her. "Well, just be careful next time," she finally managed to say, her voice tinged with a hint of protectiveness.

Before you could utter an apology, your attention was swiftly diverted as you felt a gentle touch on your hands. Surprised, you looked down to find a delicate hand resting upon yours, its warmth seeping through your fingertips. It was an unexpected gesture that caused a jolt of curiosity and curiosity to course through you.

You looked to see who it was coming from and it was from the most popular girl in Westfield High, Jennifer Nocturne; the head cheerleader and girlfriend of the quarterback. You can feel her press your shoulder on to the side of her boobs, and let me tell you it felt like heaven.

"You should watch where you're going."

"Whatever, slut" Lily replied back

The two blondes collided with one another, it felt like they were going to tear each other apart. But luckily enough like you and Sara were thinking the same thing.

"Just..come on." She says dragging her friend along with her. But while her back was turned, her friend turned around and mouthed to you. "Call Me"

A few minutes had passed since that incident, and a lingering tension hung in the air. Trying to diffuse the unease, you spoke up, hoping to steer the conversation in a different direction. "Ignore her, she's always had a knack for being the annoying one in the family."

Attempting to change the subject, Jennifer turned her attention back to you, her eyes scanning your new, handsome features. "So handsome," she murmured, a hint of sultry in her voice.

A blush tinged your cheeks, you couldn't help but feel a shift in the dynamics between us, a glimmer of something beyond the surface-level interactions you and her had grown accustomed to.

"Where is your class, I can take you there." She asked

Surprised by her sudden offer of assistance, I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to react to this unexpected gesture. The dynamics between the two of you seemed to be evolving rapidly, and you found yourself torn between skepticism and a flicker of hope.

"It's... uh, it's down the hallway, to the left," you stammered, your voice betraying a mix of uncertainty and gratitude.

She flashed you a warm smile, her eyes brimming with sincerity. "Lead the way, then~"
