Taking on the Maple Rangers

Canada had always had precious few metahuman heroes, and the most prominent of them, the Maple Rangers, were based in Vancouver. So it was a huge loss for Canada when the entire region and the city seceded to the US.

The Maple Rangers consisted of 6 heroes - 2 males and 4 females. The team had been formed many years ago, united to fight a common threat. They’ve stuck together ever since. Eventually, they even partnered up, married and started families with each other.

Vancouver Girl and Captain Toronto were the most iconic couple on the team. The other two couples were Mister Montreal and Calgary Cowgirl, and the lesbian power couple Ms. Quebec and Lady Halifax.

Dwayne knew that he wasn’t viewed favorably by the Maple Rangers, particularly after the nation fracturing political stunt that he pulled. However he knew that the heroes couldn’t turn away if he asked for their help. So he put forth a request to meet the Rangers on their terms in the local newspapers.

The Maple Rangers got in touch faster than expected. Dwayne came home to his penthouse suite to find the entire former Canadian super team seated in his living room, waiting for him.

“You’re all here…” Dwayne said.

“You wanted to meet, so here we are,” Captain Toronto said, folding his muscular arms. “What’s the issue?”

“Thank you for coming,” Dwayne said, smiling. “Can I offer you something to drink?”

“No thank you. This isn’t a social visit,” Captain Toronto replied coldly.

“Right… Let’s get to business then. In short, I need your help, Maple Rangers.”

Dwayne walked into his study and reappeared with a thick folder of documents. He placed it on the coffee table in the middle of the living room before the heroes.

“What is that?” Vancouver Girl asked.

“Missing person reports. There has been an alarming rise of women going missing all over Nero Columbia within the past months. Due to our recent political circumstances, the police and justice departments are still undergoing official restructuring. We just don’t have the manpower to deal with this.”

“And whose fault is that?” Mr. Montreal asked crossly.

Dwayne nodded mournfully. “I understand that you aren’t exactly a fan of my policies or politics. I don’t hope to convince you otherwise, but I hope you can look past our differences for now to help these people whom you’ve sworn to protect and defend.”

Lady Halifax picked up the folder and flipped through it. “My god… How many are missing?”

“There are over a hundred cases in that file and I have a stack of another 100 or so steadily piling up on my desk. Please, I have no one else to turn to.”

The Maple Rangers exchanged glances.

Finally, Vancouver Girl spoke, “We’ll look into it, Governor.”

“Thank you,” Dwayne replied, smiling at the stunning blonde woman.

“We’re not doing it for you,” Captain Toronto said as he stood up and nodded to the others to prepare to take their leave.

Dwayne’s gaze remained fixed on Vancouver Girl’s blue eyes. “My private number is written inside the folder. Please do call me if there is anything else you require,” he said.

The Maple Rangers soon left Dwayne’s penthouse via the balcony.

In the silence that followed, Dwayne allowed himself to grin. His plan had been set into motion.

Dwayne knew that the missing women in the file weren’t in any danger or harmed in any way. Nor have they been abducted. In fact, these women had likely found black lovers and subsequently left their lives behind to devote themselves to big black cock. It’s their husbands, boyfriends, or families who reported them as missing.

The BNWO meta was growing stronger and taking hold of Nero Columbia. Women across the state were getting subconsciously intrigued by black men.

The Maple Rangers were no different. Several times over their short meeting, Dwayne had met the gazes of the four super women. He could feel their interest in him piqued behind their fair eyes.

Dwayne had no doubts that the Maple Rangers would be able to track down the missing women. The women weren’t exactly hiding after all. Dwayne was much more interested in what the Rangers would discover when they found the women.
