Although Ginny had told herself over and over again that Harry would be better than Dudley, even she was surprised when she came as fast as she did. Harry was a beast in bed, seemingly knowing exactly how to push her buttons to the point where she feels relief that this nightmare will finally end. Dudley won't have a hold over them any longer.

Thinking of Dudley is what makes her realize... Harry is just copying Dudley. He must have been watching closely every time he could when they fucked and was doing what SHE had seen Dudley do. It was then she realized that Harry would never be better than Dudley, at best he could match the last time Dudley had blown her mind. Ginny decided that would be okay though, as long as they could escape. She decided to kiss Harry to thank him for proving her right.

Then she saw it. The look on Harry's face... It was an odd mixture of boredom, annoyance, and longing. She realized that longing wasn't for her either.
