Surprise

Bruce Wayne, currently in his persona as Batman, was doing the traditional Breakout Round Up. Named by others, it was when he used the Bat-computer to listen to all of the media and police communication channels to see who had released or (more likely), who had broken out of their imprisonment. The system worked from Gotham outward, from major threats to minor, starting from his most dangerous Arkham foes to the most minor criminal elsewhere in the world.

So it was near the end of the list that he found the weird police alert for Doctor Nina Dowd, aka The Mighty Endowed. First encountered by the trio of Superboy, Robin and Impulse. Doctor Dowd had been altered by New God Technology into a member of that species. Resembling a feline-human hybrid with large mammaries which emitted light which could blind as well as hypnotize. Her greatest weakness was the fact she didn't have the super-strength to support her new top heaviness, followed by distanced weakened her hypnotic control till it was negated.

All and all, a low threat in most cases. Which made her escape raise that threat. As her restraints were snapped, she vanished quickly, and much confusion was left by the staff and prisoners involved. Something had changed, which peaked Batman's interest as he didn't like unknowns.

What he didn't know, didn't detect, was the invisible presence behind him. The same women he was looking up. Who had come for the billionaire, only to be told of the hero. Which caused her to think, 'Let the games begin.'
