Summer before Fourth Year

Since the end of their 2nd year at Hogwarts, the individual known as "Harry James Potter" had come to a realization about themselves. All thanks to a magical staircase in Gryffindor Tower.

After the events of the Chamber Incident, "Harry" had climbed the stairs girl's dormitory looking for Hermione, finding nobody inside Harry left and thought nothing about it. A week later, "Harry" had watched Ron try to climb the stairs to the girl's dorms only for it to turn into a slide which the girls coming down laughed about as they went down to the end of the year feast.

Hermione, who was behind those girls explained that only girls could climb the stairs without the charms activating due to the Founder's thinking boys less trustworthy than girls.

Remembering the recent search for Hermione, "Harry" came to a realization. The stairs didn't reject "Harry" because "Harry"...

....was actually a Girl! She then thought back to when she was younger and remembered times when she was jealous of the other girls pretty dresses and realized it was because she wanted to have dresses like that and feel pretty! She'd repressed it because if the Dursley's had found out they'd had tried to "squash it out of her" just they'd tried to do with her magic.

In the summer before the term, she'd also started to notice how fit the some of older boys in Hogwarts were, and it hadn't thought anything of it. Now she understood that was because she liked men. Her face heated up as she felt the evidence of her arousal beneath her trousers.

Over the summer weeks, "Harry" discreetly began looking into methods to reflect her actual gender and found plenty of spells, potions, and rituals to help with the process via Owl Ordering various tomes. She'd her search expanded once she'd started staying in Diagon Alley after the Marge Incident.

Magic had the power to allow Wizards and Witches to regularly change their bodies and even their species. So using magic to switch physical gender by comparison was childs play and far less complicated. She'd even managed to find a simple ritual to fix her eyesight, though she still wore cosmetic glasses that looked like her old ones to keep people from knowing that after completing it before the summer ended. At that point she'd only confided her true self to the tailoress, Madam Malkin in the weeks leading up to the term.

Once she was back at Hogwarts. she'd practiced the methods on a few animals before she was confident enough to try it on herself. After a succcessful switch about 2 weeks into the term, she'd glorified in her new form, feeling complete in the first time in forever.

She was still afraid of how others might think so she **** herself to untransfigure herself back into her original body, which now that she had had a taste of being herself for the first time, was almost painful to return to. However, whenever she was alone in an empty classroom, she would change back to what she considered her true self.

She also ordered a ton of new witch's clothes, shoes, as well as special magical makeup, feminine products and other accessories (with Madam Malkin as a middlewoman) once she found out about it from a Witch Weekly that someone had left in the common room. She also copied spells and other witch beauty secrets from the library under her Invisibility Cloak along with reading some advice from some books regarding womanly pursuits she'd already started over the summer. She hid everything in a special expandable bag in her school trunk locked with special spells.

Thanks to the magical makeup to cover her scar, her new clothing (including a few new female Hogwarts uniform she's ordered from Malkin herself). She's started openly walking around the school as her true self. She drew a lot of attention when she passed by, at first she thought that'd she'd been discovered but it turned out when she'd ducked into one of the bathrooms that it hadn't been the case. Some older 7th year girls came in and introduced themselves to her to which she'd introduced herself as "Holly Iolanthe" forgoing telling them her last name and letting them draw their own conclusions.

It seemed to work and during our short conversation they told me that they'd heard the guys whispering about the "lush bird" they'd seen and how they would love to stir her cauldron. When Holly heard this she felt both relief and immense pride in herself at illicting such a reaction. The other girls jokingly commented on saving some for them or sending some of them their way.

After they parted ways, Holly returned to her classroom and returned to what she now refered to as her "Harry disguise". Over the next months she would go out as her true self and even flirt with some boys that tickled her fancy.

However, she was discovered by Fred and George when they'd confronted her and showed her the Marauder's Map and told her about how one day her name had changed from "Harry James Potter" to "Holly Iolanthe Potter" on the Map.

It was then that she confessed what had happened and about her true self. They were suprised but took it in stride, even admitting that she made for a rather "smashing bird". She blushed before laying one on each of them, thanking them for accepting her and keeping her secret. They both gifted the map to Holly.

Over the course of the term, she'd managed to keep up with everything and even would sometimes flirt and tease with the Twin's whenever she shed her "Harry Disguise". Once even joining them in a broom closet for some through snogging and heavy petting when she'd teased them under the table at dinner without anyone noticing. Fun times were had by all.

Other than those times, everything went as it usually did with her, life or **** struggles, a yearly mystery revealed, saving her Godfather and Buckbeak the usual. Although, she did somehow manage to bind Dobby the House-elf to her after he'd come to Hogwarts looking for work.

After that, his assistance in helping her was much appreciated as it allowed her to be herself more especially after he discovered the Room of Requirements existence from the other House-Elves. But one good thing that had happened was that during their Time Turner adventure, Holly had come clean to Hermione about herself just as Hermione had about her activities.

This led to them both talking to their Head of House about Holly's situation, as Hermione had realized that Holly was miserable living in her "Harry Disguise". It surprised Holly to know when they spoke to McGonnagal that Holly's situation was rare but not unheard of and that she'd be living in the Girl Dormintories from next semester onwards. It was then annouced to the schoool at the last minute feast throwing everyone off guard as she walked into the Hall as her true self.

She was pleased to most weren't bothered by this as she'd feared, though Malfoy and his ilk did try to make arses of themselves as usual. The last summer had been much better compared to the last ones as Dobby discreetly helped her deal with things while threats of her godfather's wrath managed to cow the Dursley's into not bothering her.

After returning to the Burrow, she was thankful of Weasley's acceptance of her real self (Ron had some trouble she'd heard, at first, but apparently Bill, Charlie, and the Twins had sorted him out.)

After the World Cup disaster, things had taken a while to settle but eventually they managed. Now Holly, Molly Ginny, and Hermione stood before Madam Malkin's to shop to adjust the girl's uniforms and look for their new dresses listed in the supplies this year....
