You manifest behind him, not as a shadow, but as a secondary layer of code—a shimmering, violet overlay that begins to seep into his floating glass panels. You pull a memory of a video he saw years ago: a stage hypnotist snapping his fingers, and a subject instantly falling into a deep, suggestive trance.

You translate that concept into his technical language. I show him the "Flash."

On one of the panels, a hyper-vivid, pornographic image of Jessica appears. It is explicit, raw, and breathtaking. But as Tyler looks at it, a violet pulse ripples across the screen. The image vanishes, replaced by a line of benign text: [SYSTEM STABILITY: OPTIMAL].

Tyler freezes. In the dream, he realizes that the eye saw the image, the brain processed the arousal, but the conscious mind "lost" the data in the pulse.

They will feel the lust. They will feel the submission. But they will attribute it to their own hearts, never suspecting the software.
