Tyler's dream

You sink into Tyler's subconscious, moving past the surface-level anxieties about the barista to find the core of his creative drive. The dream begins in a sterile, infinite version of his bedroom. Tyler is sitting at his desk, but instead of three monitors, he is surrounded by a 360-degree sphere of floating glass panels. Each panel displays a different feed from the house—his mother in the kitchen, Chloe in the pool, Alexis in the shower.

He is trying to "optimize" them. In the dream, he’s frantically typing, trying to use the Neuro-Pulse code to make them happy, to make them see him. But the code is failing. The text is too slow. His family members are moving like statues, cold and unresponsive. No matter how many confidence sub-routines he runs, they don't look at him. He feels that familiar, hollow ache of invisibility returning.

“It’s not enough,” Tyler mutters in the dream, his fingers blurring over a spectral keyboard. “The logic is sound, but the delivery is too weak. I’m whispering in a hurricane. I need a way to bypass the gatekeeper. I need to get inside before they even know the door is open.”
