Sit in his lap

As the group were heading to the cafeteria Emerald walked over to Mercury,

"Cinder said we had to pretend like we were dating for some scheme,"

Mercury looked over to Cinder who shrugged her shoulders, he rolled his eyes and spoke "Sure, why not."

Neo went off to get them their food and Cinder was gazing out to the rest of the cafeteria mindlessly while Emerald and Mercury were trying to find a way that made what they were doing seem natural,

"Don't sit so upright, I'm not a chair,"

"Then at least put your arm round me or something,"

"Will you two just sort it out!" Cinder said forcefully, snapping out of her daydream,

"Sorry..." Emerald said burying her head in Mercury's neck in shame.

"There we go," Mercury said pulling Emerald in tight making the girl blush,

They stayed there for a few minutes and Emerald started to rest her eyes,

a few more minutes and she had fallen asleep,

"Ah great" Mercury groaned earning a half laugh from Cinder,

"You should feel lucky Mercury, probably the only girl who'll ever be that close to you,"

Mercury rolled his eyes, he laid back hoping to at least not wake the girl and at best move her off his lap so he could eat the food he could see Neo coming over with. Before the petite girl got back Emerald's scroll dinged twice with Cinder's dinging once, Mercury opened the first message 'Congrats, hope he stays comfy if you catch my drift' Mercury furrowed his brow. He opened the next message and did a double take before looking over at Cinder who was staring daggers at him, she probably had the same message.
