It had happened so fast. You had taken the Alleviating water the doctor had promised. You had thought that it would cure you. He had promised that it could cure you.

It didn't cure you. Not one bit. It made the symptoms worse. It pained even more. It hurt so much. You just wanted it to stop.

You werent the only one either. All around the city, everyone else was also suffering, all because of that doctor. Well atleast it wasnt all bad. At least you didnt have to suffer alone.

That's when you saw her. Yixuan, the mystic who had returned to the temple in the city.

You weren't around to know much of the history but from what you did know she and her disciples were suppose to help.

You saw them manipulating some golden light, making talismans and cooridinating some sort of secret technique of their own. Thats when you felt it. A warm light bathed over your body, bathe over everyone's body.

And then you felt the corruption start to leave your body. Like it was being pulled out of you. You knew the reason.
