Shurima

You fly down towards the vast desert on the southern continent, the remains of a long dead civilization - Shurima. The barren wastelands were once the capital of the world, but have long since fallen prey to a massive Void infestation from beneath, leaving the survivors scattered and wandering the lands. From high above, you can see various small settlements, some seemingly abandoned, but nothing huge... apart from the massive fallen sundisc off on the horizon, that is.

"Truly a tragedy..." you lament, allowing yourself a brief moment of sadness before getting back on track. "But that's not to say some of the survivors don't make it work." Indeed, Shurima still had plenty to offer the world, from its stoneweaver mages to the remnants of its celestial-empowered weapons and warriors - all of which was now yours for the taking.
