Shiraishi Ramen

"Blauch, okay, I ate the strawberry tanmen," said Tadashi, a useless employee at the Kuzunoha Detective agency who dreams of hard-boiled exploits. "Now let's get down to business."

He was the spoiled son of the Satomi Tadashi owner.

"I was a spy but that was long ago," said a woman. "I just run this ramen shop now. Why would I be selling weapons?"

"I heard from the chief and Tamaki that the 'secret dish' is the password to getting an under-the-table deal. I must've ordered the wrong thing. I heard it was something disgusting. What about the sweet red bean gyoza?"

We went to Kuzunoha Detective Agency.

We entered the building to hear the cat statue say, "Welcome, meow. Welcome, meow. Welcome, meow."

"That thing scared me," Eikichi muttered. "What the hell is this?"

"Welcome! Is there something we can help you with?" asked Tamaki, a part-time worker at the agency.

She attends a women's college and is an active devil summoner who was dating Tadashi for some reason.

"Oh no, we just had a question, can we see the chief detective?" Lisa asked.

The chief detective was right there.

"Aiyah!" Lisa exclaimed. "Then the rumours about the secret dish and the weapons dealing, you guys spread those just to tease Tadashi!?"

"We didn't spread them exactly," Tamaki said. "We just told him and Tadashi ran his big mouth."

"I knew it was something like that," Eikichi said. "Anyway, it's not like rumours can magically come true, like Joker. He must have always existed."

"Can you give us anymore details?" Tamaki. "We're investigating Joker too."

"I see, the unusual incidents lately would make more sense if rumours were indeed becoming reality." said Chief Todoroki, a once dull third rate detective who had suddenly become brilliant lately.

He did devil summoning work on the side.

"Well, do you want us to spread the rumour about what the secret dish is?" he asked.

"Yeah, if rumours are coming true, we can spread rumours that work in our favour!" Lisa said.

"I'll do this one for free but I'll need a file an official request. Go see for yourself. If the rumour's come true, ordering banana char siu ramen should get you weapons."

We returned to Shiraishi Ramen.

"Alright, order up," Lisa said. "You lost the game."

"Why me?" Eikichi asked. "One banana char siu ramen, ma'am!"

"I knew this day would come, Eikichi," said 'Ma'am'. "I knew this day would come, Eikichi. These weapons are on the house as a farewell gift. Hmmm, let's see... Eikichi, you get the standard case, Mr. Cool here gets a misericorde and I'll throw in some leather gloves for the girl but rules are rules. You have to eat what you ordered or I'll pretend this never happened."

Eikichi ate the banana char sir ramen.

"There, I choked it down! Take that!" he said.

"Big news, everyone!" Kozy said. "I talked to someone who witnessed Principal Hanya with a mysterious masked figure!"

"Haime!?" Lisa exclaimed. "Really? I wonder if that's Joker. Let's go back to Sevens, John! Hanya might know something about Joker!"

"I'll keep researching the relationship between Joker and rumours.
