Shinra Tower

Shinra Tower was an impressive sight. Massive and seventy stories tall, it could make any wannabe hero's courage curdle. Cloud focused on the security while Barret and Tifa gawped at the scene.

"Rolled out the welcome wagon," Barret breathed out.

"Gotta say, I can't help but wonder if this is a lost cause," Tifa said.

"Well, ya know, some lost causes are worth fighting for," Barret looked at his gun arm.

"Let's just think this through," Cloud said, sighing as he peered at the front door and at the back garage again.

"So. I got an idea. Frontal ****, guns blazing. Make for a good story," Barret offered.

"Why'd we bring you along again? Rear entrance. We'll get inside via the parking garage," Cloud said, studying the garage.

"You would go to the back door, twink," Barret growled. Tifa giggled.

"Why is security's looking so tight?" Tifa pondered.

"Somehow I don't think it's all for us. Could be for AVALANCHE. Or maybe even Wutai," Cloud suggested. "But we can slip through just the three of us. Avoid attention, be smart."

"Yeah, I hear ya! But my soul's screamin' for payback, you know? I'm a tickin' time bomb and sooner or later I’mma have to blow up!" Barret aimed his gun arm around dramatically. Cloud had had enough of his shit for the day.

" Well, then make it later."

The Shinra truck drove down the road to the back entrance. Perched upon it were the three heroes, Barret only laying down on the top of the cargo truck after Cloud had threatened ****. They heard the officer talking to the driver.

"How's it looking out there?" the officer asked. The answer was muffled, but the truck continued driving slowly until it reached the loading deck. The three slipped off, heading towards the lobby. It was go time.
