She had a Message from the Hokage

Naruto opens the door to his apartment to find Sakura standing there. "Hey there Sakura, what brings you over here?" asked Naruto. "Hello Naruto, I was sent here by the Hokage to deliver you message. She has a mission for you over in Suna to help Gaara out. They are opening a new ninja academy building and wanted the hero of the 4th Great Ninja War to be there." replied Sakura. "That's great!" exclaimed Naruto getting excited. "I haven't seen Gaara since the war ended. It should be great!" he said. He invites Sakura in to gather some of his things.

"Kakashi-sensei apologizes about sending you out on another mission so soon after coming back from your trip, he said the mission should only take a few days." said Sakura. "Eh its no problem if its to help out Gaara." said Naruto with a laugh. "That reminds me, how was your trip Naruto? I know you were going to see if you could find out some information about your clan." said Sakura. Naruto, then looks a little surprised. He almost forgot about the Kaguya mask and jutsu when Sakura came over. He only remembered when she brought up the trip. He looks over to part of the room and saw the mask still sitting on top of the jutsu array. He then starts to think if he should tell Sakura about the mask and jutsu. If the mask really contained Kaguya's power, it could be potentially dangerous to leave around in his apartment. He then began to come up with an idea, he could leave it in Sakura's care until he could figure out what to do with it when he came back. He and Sakura were teammates, close friends, and had fought Kaguya together. If anyone knew the terrible power it contained, it was her.

Naruto was so lost in his thoughts, it was only until Sakura knocked him on the shoulder that he snapped out of it. "Oh, sorry Sakura, I was just thinking of something." He then began to tell her of the shrine, the scroll containing the jutsu, and the accidental mask he created. Sakura was shocked from what she heard. She couldn't believe such a jutsu existed. It was then Naruto asked her to keep the Kaguya mask safe until he returned. He mentioned that it held a great power, and was afraid of it falling into the wrong hands.

Naruto picked the mask up and gave it to Sakura. The minute she touched it, she could've sworn she felt a slight pulse come from the mask. Sakura thought she was imagining it, and figured it was just some nerves at the thought of Kaguya. After Naruto finished packing they both said their good byes and headed there separate ways. Naruto to see Hokage so he could start his mission, and Sakura headed home so she could keep the mask safe.

It had been about a day since Naruto left, and Sakura hadn't let the mask out of her sight. Sakura was currently in her room looking at the mask. Her mind began to wonder about the mask. Could it really contain the power that Kaguya wielded? She didn't realize it, but she had been staring at the mask for a while now. Her eyes began to have hazed look like she was in a trance. She began reaching for the mask. It was almost like it was calling out for a wearer. She unconsciously had picked up the mask. She felt that familiar pulse again, when all of a sudden...
