She Thinks It's Still Part of The Act

"Oh, going down easy I see! I guess I'll start counting you out," she said, fully convinced that James would just hop up after a few seconds to give her an actual fight.

"Oooooooonnneeeeee," she started with a sultry voice.

"Tttttttttwooooooo. Better get up or else you're losing!"

"Tttthhhhreeeee." James didn't even stir one bit. He was thoroughly knocked out.

"Ffffooouurrrr." Her Sister Stella had started paying attention at some point and was seriously impressed that she had managed to knock the guy down already. Didn't she say he was good or something?

"Fffiiiivveee." Amy ended that one with a bit more hesitation than the others. She had expected him to be up by now, but he hadn't moved a single muscle since going down. Was he just an amazing actor, or....

"Sssiiixxx." Her voice was getting lower as her heart rate started picking up slightly. Was it nervousness that she might've hurt him badly? Or was it her enjoying this?

"Seevven." Surely he would get up any second now. Problem is he only had three more seconds!

"Eiight." Stella looked on in confusion. Even she knew that boxing ended with a ten count. Had this bitch lost to her sister in less than two minutes ?

"Nine." This was it. His last chance to get up. Amy wished that he would just jump up and they would have a laugh about this entire thing. How naïve she would feel for falling for his ruse. Unfortunately for her that's not what happened. She hesitated before finishing her count, giving James an additional couple seconds which he predictably wasted.

"Ten." There was complete silence in the room. The guys that had been training there had already left. The entire boxing area was empty, except for our three main characters. James, Amy the cute girl he met at the gym, and her equally cute sister Stella. All three of them stayed in silence for a few seconds, two of them stuck in thought, trying to process what had happened, and the third physically unable to muster any sound.
