She Finds a Hot Pink Materia

As Aerith walked back to her room, she suddenly felt something strange, like there was something here that wasn't there before. She quickly looked around, and her eyes were drawn to her desk, specifically to a small wooden box. She walked over and opened it.

Inside was the white materia that she inherited from her birth mother, Ifalna. Usually, Aerith keeps this with her, hiding it in her hair, but she also keeps it in this box whenever she's home, and she felt a little relived that it's still there. However, right next to it was a materia glowing bright pink. This one, Aerith was sure she didn't put in the box. The only one who knew about the wooden box was Elmyra, and Aerith knew she would have told her by now if she found it.

As she took the pink materia out of the box and held it in her hand, Aerith felt a pleasant heat coming off from it. She turned it over in her hand, carefully inspecting it. She had some knowledge about the different types of materia, like green lets you cast spells while red can summon monsters, but she had no idea what pink could mean.

“Well, only one way to find out,” Aerith said to herself, as she finally started getting dressed.

Now, dressed in her usual outfit and boots, and hiding her white materia back in her hair, she dug around her room and found an iron bangle she kept around. Aerith then equipped it and placed the pink materia in its sole slot. Immediately, she felt the same pleasant warmth wash over her.

“Oh, okay,” she said, “this feels nice.”

“Aerith, Breakfast!” she heard Elmyra's voice from downstairs. Aerith immediately skipped out of her room and headed back down.

However, as she stepped off the stairs and headed to the table, right before she was about to sit down, Elmyra said, “I'm pretty sure I told you to get dressed.”

“Huh?” Aerith replied in confusion. Sure enough, when she looked down at herself, she saw that she was naked again, save for her hair tie and boots.

“What the heck?” she said in alarm. “What?!”
