Chapter 4 by MrLarsBar MrLarsBar

What's next?

Seventh Singularity

Mesopotamia, the Seventh Singularity. The Lion King prophecized the emergence of an entity surpassing even King Solomon. There was a foreboding atmosphere with every passing minute and hour. Chaldea needed the Holy Grail. They needed to end this Singularity. They needed to stop the incineration of humanity. Unfortunately, the man seemingly in possession of what they needed was not interested.

Gilgamesh, God-King of Uruk. He was nothing like his Archer counterpart, displaying not arrogance but self-assurance. Power but also wisdom. His eyes saw beyond the lenses of mere mortals. His people loved him and he acted in accordance to that love.

Ritsuka and his group decided to trust him. They decided to stay in Uruk as guests, waiting for when they were needed. Gilgamesh said they would be able to help in the war effort if they proved themselves. To do that, he and Mash needed to work from the bottom-up. So that was what they did. For nearly a month, they completed menial tasks. Carrying food, helping the people farm, teach and learn in the ways of combat, etc. The easy stuff.

But much of their questions weren't answered.

Ishtar the goddess of sex and beauty. Possessing an attractive young Japanese woman as her host, wearing clothes too skimpy for the modern person, she was someone they considered an ally. Although her attitude was kinda cute (and her ass felt nice on his face), she was still mysterious in a way.

Then there was the Three Goddess Alliance: Gorgon, Ereshgikal, and Quetzalcoatl.

There many goddesses in this Singularity. Many potential alliances. Many avenues.

Already King Gilgamesh had Servants. Ushiwakamaru, Musashibou Benkei, Leonidas, and even Merlin the trickster. For six months Uruk had been holding off the Demonic Beasts. Six months of conflict and struggle. As a result, Ritsuka's efforts were appreciated by the people of Uruk.

Siduri, the attractive woman watching over them, occassionally let them know of their contributions. Honestly, it felt amazing being thanked.

What Happens?
