Seriously guys, she's an asshole

The store up top was just the same as when the four had left, save for the center area which was no longer crowded, with the reason of the crowd having long since left the establishment to complete whatever business she had. Alex made her way back to the counter as the three made their way through the store, deciding to take some time and look over the merchandise, John did have some money left over, afterall.

Miho ran ahead of the other two, wanting to look at the manga and anime sections, while John decided to look at the comic books. As he browsed through the rack, he saw it, the latest volume of the Dark Nights: Metal series. Batman was clearly the best DC character, so John was always drawn to his comics over that of most others. The Green Arrow had some good ones as well. But this series was super fascinating to John because it opened up a whole new part of the multiverse to DC Comics. That there were evil versions of Batman who had killed and stolen the powers of the other Justice League members and were now trying to kill Batman and the Justice League in the main universe was awesome. Just seeing the different versions of Batman, that represented each of his fears of Bruce Wayne come to life, and there was something about that idea that connected to John. With him gaining these new powers, he now realized something similar could happen to him, that he could be taken over by the power he had received and become something far less noble than he thought he’d become if he got super powers.

“But Mikiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, I want theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem!” the clear cry of Miho snapped John back into reality. Miho, the clear weeabo of the two, struggled to get back to the figurine section as her sister dragged her away. Sadly, she was no match for Mikuru’s superior strength, who took the most direct route towards the exit, having decided it was time to go.

“Well, looks like Mikuru decided we are leaving; bye, Alex, and have a good day!” John said as he gave Alex a smile and a wave.

“You too, John, and come back soon, ok?” she said as she returned the wave and smile. John’s dick gave a stir as his mind was flooded with the many fantasies he had of that girl, and with his newfound abilities, he was determined to make them come true at least once. The three, instead of going back to John’s house, decided to go to the park and do some training. The distance from the shop to the nearest park wasn’t that far away, so the three decided to take a walk and enjoy the nice weather.

John walked slightly in front of the twins, who purposely fell back to whisper to each other as they walked with John to the park. Their constant giggling worried John, who had never seen the two act like that. Man, I wish I had mind reading powers. That’d be so cool! I could read their minds and see what people want or are going to do and react appropriately to gain an advantage over people! Dear Asshole Goddess, think you can help me out? John wished to his benevolent god whom he had decided to fully embrace as his one true god.

“What the shit, Asshole Goddess?!” John’s voice rang out in the streets. Random bystanders stopped and stared at him, startled by his sudden outburst. Others, mainly the more religious ones, called him a blasphemer for either praying to a false god or calling God a woman. Those people would then storm off when they saw that John paid them no attention, instead just staring at what they thought was aimlessly in front of him. John, of course, was staring at the pop-up that informed him that he would be no longer able to gain skills for 24 hours. Those 24 hours would be an eternity to John, who had finally had enough people to form a party and go on adventures! And with his Gamer abilities, he could easily gain a plethora of new abilities, but now he was crippled for a whole day! This could not stand! His eye twitched as a vein on his forehead bulged, his nose curled up as he clenched his teeth. The twins saw John’s anger and felt a tinge of fear. They had never seen John angry, nor did they think he could get angry. Or at least, as angry as he was right now.

“Is something the matter, John?” asked Mikuru, who spoke in her normal, calm voice. Normally, John enjoyed Mikuru’s calm demeanor, but in his current state, it just pissed him off.

“Did Gaia piss you off? Cause it sounds like Gaia pissed you off!” Miho bluntly put. This, too, pissed John off. He knew it was only a matter of time until his anger boiled over, and with his mind still mostly his own, he erected a barrier for the three, with John needing to release his anger on something immediately.
The buildings seemed to age as the barrier formed around the three, color dimmed, windows broken or boarded up, some had even collapsed in on themselves, or had their upper halves just missing. The road and sidewalk they were on also changed, the color faded while potholes appeared on the road and cracks formed in the side walk or pieces of it just straight disappeared. The barrier had placed them in an apocalyptic city, complete with shambling zombies.

“OooOoOooo! Straight out of a horror movie!” Miho squealed, “This is gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!”

“Do not let your guard down, Miho, we could easily be overwhelmed. Plus, your outburst just alerted the nearby zombies we are here!” the elder sister scolded her younger sister. While they were talking, John had drawn his sword and begun walking in front of them.

“Good. Let them come. I will strike them all down!” roared the angry nerd as he slashed the first shambling zombie in front of him before using Charge to smash into a group of 6 zombies, striking them all down in just a few slashes each. The twins quickly got to work, protecting the flank of their king, either destroying the zombies or redirecting them to John.
