Chapter 8
by MidbossMan
Kazuma, spurned by the party he brought together. In fact, this genre of fiction, in which a young man from another world is reincarnated but is spurned by the party he so faithfully and competently served, is growing in popularity among fiction w-
Sena and Luna, the ultimate unmarried older woman combo!
While others in the city enjoyed a rather spicy and unusual day in Axel, the guild hall’s receptionist, Luna, enjoyed a very different, but just as miraculous, sort of rare occasion. Ordinarily, her work in the guild hall carried a lot of stress and kept her awfully busy, as adventurers from all walks of life came to find work, report in their results, or, more often than she’d like, argue to overturn the evaluation of one of their jobs.
Today, she’d been blessed-- perhaps it was her good karma catching up to her. That poor, lonely girl archmage had come in and grabbed up all of the outstanding jobs that would normally be distributed among the low-to-mid level adventurers. Ordinarily, that might be a problem in its own right– adventurers would be in and out scowling about no work or opportunities. Today, however, everything had been plucked up so early and cleared so efficiently that word got around town quickly and the adventurers planned for a day off instead.
Everyone was enjoying a relaxed atmosphere at the guild hall, sharing drinks and giving the day a sort of long weekend feeling. The town’s relative prosperity as of late, with monsters having been culled back significantly into the wilds, meant that they could afford to relish in peace. Moreover, all the successful quests meant that everyone had a little spending cash to throw around and the atmosphere had improved more than she expected. She even had a little time to herself!
Well, not just to herself, but the company was quite agreeable. Rather than any of the rough and tumble adventurer class, her friend, Sena, the royal prosecutor, had stopped by to enjoy a cup of her favorite aromatic tea. She couldn’t be talked into bubbly, making her the only person in the whole tavern who was abstaining from day drinking… but that was a good thing, in Luna’s mind. If Sena drank, she’d start complaining about her job even more than usual, and that was the last thing Luna wanted them chatting about right now.
The two were thought to be some of the most desirable beauties in the town, with bombshell figures and so single and on-the-market that it was often thought of as their defining character traits. Sena, with her long and straight black hair and trademark no nonsense, glasses-girl appeal, and Luna, the guild hall sweetheart with a world-class smile to go along with her world class breasts, would seem to be a prime catch for any of the town’s men. Only…
… Sena was a bit unapproachable. “Married to her work” would be putting it nicely. “Ice queen” would be putting it more directly. The frown eternally plastered to her otherwise pretty face projected an air of “don’t talk to me” that was actually quite contradictory to her desire to find a husband. Rumors and appearances in her case were so strong that no one could even guess she had any interest in getting into a relationship.
… Luna was just the same. “Married to her work" would be putting it nicely. “An eternal spinster,” to put it more directly. Despite her looks and personality, her position as the hardest working girl in the guild meant she had no time for relationships. Everyone treated her as someone to be left to her work, much like Sena. Due to this misconception, the two of them had never so much been on a date with anybody in town, despite their good looks and their relatively normal personalities compared to the rest of the goofballs among the town's girls.
Now, instead of mingling with any of the guys in the tavern, they sat at a table alone with one another, drinking and doing their best not to think about their jobs or marital statuses for once.
“So… How’s your work, Sena? Are things also pretty quiet for the prosecutor’s office?” Luna questioned, tilting her head with an awkward smile spreading across her lips. “Oh, gosh. Work talk! I failed already,” she admonished herself, tapping herself lightly on the side of the head with one fist. She thought of Sena as a good friend, but truth be told, nothing united them more than their complaints about their jobs.
Sena took a big swig of her tea, then clapped it down noisily into its saucer as though she'd somehow become drunk on a non-alcoholic beverage. “It's not official work, but I have a premonition that today is going to be another foul day. Things were calm enough in the morning, but from what I hear, a troublemaker is causing a ruckus. It's likely someone with another of those remotely activated magical artifacts that pop up from time to time-- I need to pay Vanir a visit and see if he knows anything about it. Still, the remote nature of the magic always makes it hard to gather any clues I can use to track down the culprit,” she sighed heavily, crossing her arms and lowering her head with a weary frown. "I end up relying on tips more than anything."
“Hmmm… How about Kazuma Satou?” Luna questioned, tapping one finger up and down upon her cheek.
“Oh, you’re right. It’s almost definitely that criminal element, Satou, up to no good. If anyone's stumbled upon an artifact and is using it for evil, it'd be him.”
“N-No,” Luna laughed, silently apologizing to the young man for throwing him at Sena’s feet with no proof. “I meant perhaps Kazuma and his group have some sort of idea who might be behind the incidents? It does seem like trouble is always following them around.”
“You’re right. I suppose I’ll just have to arrest him and take him in for interrogation.”
“No! Just talk to him,” Luna protested, emboldened a bit by her drink and causing Sena to open her eyes wider as she raised her voice. “Gosh, Sena! You’re always so quick to accuse others! People can actually be more forthcoming when they aren’t put in cuffs and dragged through the streets, you know?”
“... But do you really think that shifty adventurer isn’t at the center of the rumors?” Sena asked, lowering her eyebrows critically.
“Come on! It can’t be Kazuma every time! If everyone’s always on his case about things like this, it’s only going to make him act out more than he already does! He’s… well… young men his age tend to push back when older people throw their authority around, especially someone from the government!”
“... You’re older than me, aren’t you?” Sena grumbled over her tea, treading on the one line that must not be tread upon: the sensitive subject of Luna’s age. The guild hall seemed to hush for a moment, as all of the eavesdroppers sat quiet, waiting to see what would happen. The prosecutor coughed into her fist. “Ahem. I apologize.”
“Apologize to Kazuma, not me!” the receptionist of questionable age giggled, choosing to ignore the insult, keeping the conversation light and airy.
“I won’t apologize for anything to him. If he’s not guilty already this morning, he’ll be guilty by the end of the day. You can count on that, sure as the rising and setting of the sun,” Sena reaffirmed her opinion, closing her eyes with a resigned smile as she set her tea cup aside.
“Well… I wish I could say you were wrong. With no jobs around and that sort of sulky face he was making earlier in the tavern… sort of dark and brooding… I’ll bet he’s getting into even more trouble than usual,” Luna admitted. “Maybe it would be safer for everyone if he was in jail after all. If you think about it, it might even be best for him. Without being surrounded by so many girls, maybe his libido would calm down.”
“Exactly! No one needs jail time more than him. He’s even more of a troublemaker than Dust! How does Kazuma get off the hook all the time?” Sena complained, leaning across the table and slamming her fist down with a heave of her impressive bosom under her smart blue blazer and a bounce of her glasses upon the bridge of her nose. “I can’t think of one person in this town that’s more of a deviant than him! I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s run out of town, naked and disgraced, by a real hero some day! And another thing about him-”
—------”Ko no su ba!”-----------
“...”
Kazuma sat in a corner of the tavern by himself, sulking and feeling his ears burning. After reviewing his initial options-- Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin-- he'd ended up a bit flighty. In the end, he'd let them all go their separate ways while he plotted and planned. Chances were, this script wasn't going to be a long term thing for him-- he found a lot of magical artifacts before and they seemed to have a funny way of leaving his hands, like some sort of karmic retribution. While he was still stewing on that, Sena and Luna entered and started chatting. He'd be keen to watch them from the corner of the tavern at the most normal of times, for the ordinary reason of them being sexy older women, but today, they were also potential targets for his script.
He’d been offended enough when the two ladies had managed to overlook his presence while looking for familiar drinking buddies, but he thought maybe that was just part and parcel of being a low level adventurer with only basic skills to his name, or perhaps he just didn’t look like himself without his party around. The rest of the conversation (all of which he’d shamelessly eavesdropped on) had been a bit of a roller-coaster, with his heart momentarily rising as Luna came to his defense, before toppling down into the darkness of malaise when the two ended up double-teaming him again for no reason at all.
He was used to being an unsung hero in this town, but why was everybody talking about him like he was some sex-crazed bastard? He was the one who chased out a sex-crazed bastard just earlier that day, saving all of the town's fair maidens in the process! What had his heroics gotten him? Nothing at all, so far, besides a little peepshow with Yunyun that he hadn’t asked for!
Not that he was making any effort to forget the spectacle of Yunyun's plight. That stroke of good fortune was the only thing keeping him going right now after that vicious verbal beatdown…
His mug of bubbly wasn’t doing anything for him. The only thing that could lift his spirits now was a little turnabout against those who deserved it! “I’m not the bad guy,” he reminded himself. “That was slander I overheard just now! I’m defending my good name! Those naughty onee-sans are spreading vicious rumors about a noble hero who's only ever done good! If those rumors keep circling about, spread from the lips of those otherwise trusty and respected angels of the city, my star will fall even further… as if there was any further to fall,” he sobbed. “I just have to strip away… Mm hm… Strip away a bit of their credibility.”
His nostrils flared. With justice. “The button on Luna’s credibility looks ready to pop off and shoot across the table… He he he he…”
He’d been remiss to use his power against the hapless Yunyun, who suffered more than anyone deserved to on the daily and had it especially hard today. These two pretty busybodies, however, were making a fool out of him, unprovoked! It was like being back in elementary school (not that he'd ever attended school with any regularity), with mean girls laughing about him behind his back! A little prank here in return for that indignation felt so natural, he could hardly even be blamed for it.
The perfectly innocent adventurer’s eyes darted back and forth in an especially shifty manner before he produced from his cloak the latest magical artifact in a long line of them and began to write a story of vengeance upon its pages. Kazuma had learned earlier that the script could only be used on one target at a time. It was going to be a challenge getting both girls on the hook by controlling only one of them, but that just made it like any other eroge: the reward is always sweeter when you have to work for it a little!
—------- “Konosubwuuuh he he he he….”-----------
“Well, it’s beginning to get late. I can’t waste all day here in the tavern. If no one is going to report what really happened at that incident in the square, I’m going to have to look into it personally,” Sena finished, pushing her tea forward on the table before fishing out a few coins from her purse as a tip for their waiter. She rose up to her feet.
“Aw, don’t go yet. If you do, I have to end my break and get back to work…” Luna sobbed. “Isn’t there any other juicy gossip you want to chat about?”
“I’m afraid I've nothing else to share, but I’m certain the moment I step a foot outside of this tavern, I’ll learn about something else that criminal element Satou did,” she sighed, flipping her hair over her shoulder with the sharp, upward flick of one arm. “After all, he’s so good looking, there’s really nothing women can do to help themselves around him. I’m actually thinking it’s not so much his own fault that girls end up showing off in compromising positions as it is to be blamed upon his natural animal charisma and masculinity.”
“... Huh?” Luna muttered, seeming so surprised that she might fall backwards off of her bench. Sena's expression hadn't changed at all, but the train of logic that she'd just unveiled was so unlike her, it left Luna's jaw hanging open. “A-Are you talking about… a different Satou Kazuma? Maybe I’m confused.”
Sena raised an eyebrow, then rolled the words she’d just spoken around in her head for a moment. A pensive expression came to her face and she cupped one hand to her chin. “Hm… I think you’re right. I mean, you must be. Is there a different Satou Kazuma in the city? One that looks and smells completely different from the young man in the green cape?”
“No…”
“Hm. For just a moment, I found myself thinking that he was not nearly so despicable as I know him to be. Perhaps that’s because I actually have secret feelings for him? In fact, I know that’s it. Yes. I have secret feelings for Satou.”
Luna's eyes widened. It was rare to hear Sena open up like this. Had that tea been spiked after all? “What sort of feelings?”
“Ecchi feelings. Hot, steamy ones. The kind they write about in erotic magazines, in short. What does a lady like myself do with no man around, frustrated at night, alone in my room? I kiss my pillows and fantasize about the most handsome man I can. And why not a young, untaken hero like him, who has saved the town many times over?” she spoke out loud, beginning to blink in confusion as she failed to recognize her own words. It felt a bit like being drunk, as though a lack of impulse control was causing her to run at the mouth, but these didn't have even a kernel of truth behind them. Did they? She adjusted her glasses, trying to find some thread of her true feelings in everything she’d just let slip out. For a moment, she regained control of her speech. “I mean. I do fantasize about men from erotic publications. But I’m typically picturing two men…”
“T-Two men! You want to go two on one with two men?!”
“No, two men with just one another, with me out of the equation,” Sena answered, smiling confidently as she managed to regain her sentence. Yes. Boy’s love. That was something she actually liked, not some strange, alien thought that had somehow planted itself in her brain. She had a long history of fantasizing about guy-on-guy.
But wait. She wasn’t supposed to admit that out loud. Sena smiled awkwardly and raised both hands in defense. Her glasses slipped slightly out of alignment on the bridge of her nose as she shook her head. “That was… a joke!”
“Ah ha ha… I-I've never heard you tell a joke before!”
“That was a joke because I am much more interested in two woman, one man relationships.”
“Ah ha… huh?!”
“Two women and one man. That’s the kind of threesome I prefer to envision. Two older women and one young man is certainly a man’s fantasy. No, a woman’s fantasy. Women can like that too, not just men, even if it's a fantasy that seems far more prevalent in men. There must be some women who fantasize about that sort of thing too, right? I can totally see it working, for example, with you, me, and the right man.”
“... I’m totally lost here,” Luna whispered under her breath, while looking from side to side, trying to find someone else laughing to let her know this was all some kind of prank. She lowered her voice to a whisper, trying to stop anyone else from eavesdropping. “Is this still a joke? I-I know we’re both ****, but are you actually suggesting we work as a team to seduce one guy?”
“Hell yeah!” Sena responded with an uncharacteristic grin, then shook her head and put her bewildered frown back on, blinking in confusion. Even though she'd just suggested that, her pride would never allow that, right? No way! No no no.
Although...
It was really a perfectly sensible idea. She and Luna were already friends, luckless in love, and the right guy was definitely out there for both of them. If they hadn't had any success separately, why not try together? Whoever they picked would be powerless against their combined appeal, especially if they went all out and used those man-slaying bodies of theirs!
The logic seemed amazingly sound in her head. “I’d suggest we focus, specifically, on single men between the ages of 18-20.”
“Th-That young?! Are we cougars now?”
“Yes. I think?” Sena questioned herself, crossing her arms and closing her eyes thoughtfully. Was that really her preference? Young guys? It was like there was only one single guy she could picture in her mind’s eye right now and maybe, as a result of her obsession with her work, it was the worst trouble-making lout in the city. “What do you say, Luna?”
The other girl waved her hands in **** rejection of the idea, causing her huge bosom to swing along with the motion. “I-I absolutely can’t do that! What about my job? What about YOUR job?”
“You’re right– it’s asinine. We absolutely can’t do that unless we make it an official responsibility by putting up an appropriate job poster that clearly reflects our intentions. Luckily, I bought a stack of posters I printed for this occasion, because I am extremely forward thinking, and very **** for male companionship, so it’s actually completely in character for me to already have these.” With no hint of hesitation, Sena dropped a pile of yellowed parchment onto the table, which Luna had to question if she remembered seeing her walk in with. Maybe she’d just assumed they had something to do with prosecution and hadn’t thought about it any further?
At any rate, in a sort of stupor and wearing a disbelieving smile on her face, Luna grabbed one of the posters with sweat-soaked hands and gave it a once over with widened eyes. Her initial suspicion was that Sena didn’t have a romantic bone in her body. If she really was putting out a quest poster like it was some sort of classified ad, it would probably turn out to be something embarrassingly bone-dry in terms of presentation. It would probably be a full page writing with no pictures or decoration, just words, making an appeal on the basis of their hard-working natures and above-average salaries.
Her hands trembled when she saw the truth of it: artistic depictions of the two of them, with Seina on the left and Luna on the right, forming a heart with their hands at the center of the frame. Their names were written over their heads with a big “AND YOU” in the center of the heart. The words “Menage a Trois at the Mile High Club” written in big letters beneath it all. An address was listed where interested parties should reach them and beneath that was a list of requirements: 18-20 years of age, male, brown hair, adventurer class, dressed in a green cape.
What was more worrisome than all of that other nonsense was the way they were dressed– or not dressed– in the drawing. The women were both semi-nude with their bodies barely covered by bedsheets, pulled up and tucked under their elbows to hang at their breasts. Barely the essentials there were covered, while the poster ran down far enough to show their curvy, bare hips showing from around the other corner of the blankets. The implication, rather clearly, was that the two of them were pictured naked together, in bed, with you, the POV, being the third person joining them.
“Th-This doesn’t feel like an advertisement for a date! It kind of makes us look like… p-p-prostitutes!” she stammered, dropping the poster onto the table and feeling as oppositely sheepish as her smiling face on the paper was bold. “And I think you drew my boobs too big… Did you draw this?!”
“No, they are actually that large. I know because I’ve spent a very long time staring at them,” Seina responded in a matter-of-fact way, pausing to adjust her glasses. “Ahem, that is, everyone in this town has spent a very long time staring at them. I love them no more or less than any other man. Or woman.”
Luna stared at Sena with one eyebrow raised for a moment longer, then shook her head and pressed one finger down to the paper. “This has to be a joke, right? It says: ‘be wined and dined by two of the hottest single women in Axel as a special VIP, then enjoy a special once-in-a-lifetime service.’ I hate to ask but… a-are you being blackmailed by Kazuma? Because you should know, he’s really not that dangerous of a person. He’ll get a little sulky if you ignore him, but sometimes, it’s best not to play along with his games or encourage him too much.”
“Me? Play along with him?!" Sena questioned, her legitimate offense at the suggestion mixing with Kazuma's own indignation on paper. "I never give even an inch to Kazuma! In fact, I make his life a living hell most of the time, barging into his house and arresting him over charges that have nothing to do with him! It doesn’t matter how many times I see that he’s a pure and innocent boy, I’m constantly trying to cart him off in cuffs!” Sena ranted, leaning across the table with both hands flat and sounding bizarrely like she was prosecuting herself. “What I’m doing for him tonight is just a tiny fraction of what I owe him, really! He saved the town, didn’t he?! Multiple times! Why are we acting like I’m a lowlife who doesn’t deserve anything?!”
“You’re not making any sense…”
Somewhere in the tavern, a young man cried out “crap” in a meek voice, realizing he was making the same sorts of mistakes in the notebook a certain pervy fatso had. It turned out it was hard sometimes to avoid treating the book like a diary to let out your frustrations in.
“Ahem. Luna, my dearest friend. My only friend, as far as anyone knows. I’m just a step away from being Yunyun in terms of loneliness. If you turn your back on me, I’ll have to do this alone… Let’s not question the ‘why’ or ‘for whom’ of all of this. Just trust me that I absolutely need you to help me wine and dine the non-specific, brown-haired, 18-to-20 year old adventurer. You’ve seen the way I behave around citizens, right? I don’t know how to wine and dine anyone. You’re the only one who can help me escaoe the vicious cycle that traps us both.”
Sena’s eyebrow twitched. Her words were a mixture of things she earnestly believed and things she’d never say to anyone in a million years, whether it was to Luna or anyone else-- half of them were self-targeted insults that undermined her own position as royal prosecutor. When the words spilled out, for a split second, she recognized their dubiousness, but a moment later, it was like they were part of her lifelong canon. In reality, her feelings about Kazuma were a little more complicated than the total disgust she ordinarily portrayed, but her “own” insistence that Kazuma was somebody she owed was being repeatedly asserted as fact.
But it was so far from the truth that her mind rejected it. Saying she wanted to be in a threesome with Luna in order to attract a man for both of them actually wasn’t as far from her own feelings as one might imagine, but to do it with Kazuma? It beggared belief to such an extent that she felt she was in some sort of nightmare she might wake up from at any moment.
But then… she supposed she had falsely accused him a few times. Maybe this really was her own guilt putting words in her mouth? No. She didn't really feel guilty about any of their history. Still, she was being pushed to action, despite none of the faulty logic really sticking.
But what was a "Mile High Club," anyway? Why had she suggested they be part of something she didn't even understand the meaning of? She shook her head and tried to have her usual confidence in her rationality, but found it hard to come by. “We have much to prepare. Let’s be off now, Luna.”
“R-Right now? I have to tell someone to cover my shift…”
“You must have a million days of paid overtime by now! You’re the biggest workhorse in town! Just use a day off!”
“Come on, silly. You know I don’t get any ‘days off.’”
“Yeesh… I don’t think I realized how bad you had it.”
“You don’t get days off either… You told me that once...”
Somewhere in the tavern, a certain young man tried to ignore his increasing feelings of guilt at wasting the time of these two women, who evidently had some of the most ****-driven jobs in the city.
Sena cleared her throat. “... Well, today, we’re taking a day off anyway. What are they going to do? Arrest me? Bwaaa ha ha ha!” She placed her fists on her hips, raised her nose up, and laughed an oddly familiar laugh that wasn't her own.
“I don’t think I’ve ever heard you laugh like that either!”
“... Fu hu hu. I meant 'fu hu hu.'” It sounded oddly like she was doing someone's inept approximation of a mature woman's laugh.
Breasting boobily inside her low-cut blouse, Luna followed Sena out of the guild hall, now wrestling with the idea that her friend might have been replaced by some kind of succubus impersonating her.
—------------ “Ko no su bwaaaa ha ha ha!” —-------------
Kazuma Satou shared the popular fantasy with many young men of being a VIP who travels the world by airplane, with two airline stewardesses on each arm, sneaking all sorts of unmentionable acts in during and between flights. This, for any purer readers than the young man himself, is what's called "The Mile High Club," named both for the altitude and the orientation of the erection one is likely to sport during. He couldn't think of any more appropriate position to put two world-class beauties like Sena and Luna into for his upcoming threesome.
But that said... There were a few problems with the set-up, weren't there?
For starters, the obvious: there were no airplanes anywhere in this world, at least as far as he'd seen during his time. His fall-back, a fancy hotel, quickly fell apart as well. There were no fancy hotels in this world either! It was more low fantasy than high fantasy, and in either of those situations, the typical sort of hotel setting would be out of place. Instead, he was **** to go with having Sena rent out a room in the highest class inn he could find in Axel which, without looking at it, he knew wouldn't be quite up to the standard of his fantasy.
"How screwed up is it that I have one of the best mansions in this town already? I can't invite them home, though, and have those three bozos walking in and breaking up the Mile High Club! It has to be a hotel, dammit!"
So an inn it was. That wasn't so bad. Less turbulence than in the air. Cheaper than a real fancy hotel. This way, he didn't have to worry to subjecting the girls to too many undue expenses. Yes, this was fine. Sena's wallet ought to be okay with just this. And the wine. Or could he just use the script to make wine? He probably should have just used the script to make Sena already have a room at the inn. Crap!
Setting all of that aside, his next and biggest issue was Luna herself. He'd noted early on it was only possible to control one girl at a time. For now, that had to be Sena-- any minute she wasn't under its control was another minute she'd end up investigating the cause of the disturbances in town, especially now that she'd clearly been targeted.
Luna wasn't making this easy! Just from the script, he could tell she was making every effort she could to slip out of the hotel room. She'd started off by trying to appeal to Sena's rationality, which was ordinarily a pretty safe commodity. Seeing that was in short supply, she'd pivoted to trying every excuse she could come up with. She hadn't contacted her backup before leaving the inn. She thought they were supposed to get a really important guest today she needed to tend to personally. She had a hair appointment. She had a doctor's appointment. She had an appointment with the town exorcist regarding a cursed item. She was missing a special limited time sale at Wiz's store.
The last one struck Kazuma as especially sad... Nobody cared about Wiz's store, limited time sale or otherwise. He hoped Luna would warm up to the idea of the Menage a Trois a little bit once things got in motion.
Still, he was getting a hand-cramp from all the extra lines he was having to write, having Sena command Luna to stay, reject her excuses, or, in a few occasions, physically grab her wrist and pull her back down onto the bed to stop her from leaving. "This is ****... I have a newfound respect for erotic fanfiction writers. I think I'm getting arthritis from all this writing," Kazuma groaned to himself, stopping once again to hop into the shade of a nearby alley and write Sena another line of text that would prevent Luna from wriggling free of the commitment.
Still, he knew it would all be worth it. When he got up to that second floor of the inn, threw open the door to the VIP suite, and saw the smiling Sena and the shy Luna sitting hip-to-hip there on the bed together, each holding a glass of fine red wine and ready to spend the night sharing a bed with the guest of honor...!
... Unless something really stupid happened. But certainly not, right? Just because there was almost always something stupid waiting whenever he threw open a door with high expectations about what would be waiting for him, that didn't mean it would happen this time, right?
...
Just in case, Kazuma spent a little while longer there, writing stipulations into the script until it was nearly night time. He made sure that whenever the young man they were waiting to answer the guild posting walked in, he would be treated to the most luxurious, erotic, one-of-a-kind, five-star service he could ask for. Feeling confident now, with the sun beginning to set, Kazuma stepped out of the alley where he'd been lurking for over an hour and finished heading towards the inn. Picturing the spectacle in his head, he gulped hard, trying not to let his anticipation show too clearly on his face, and walking bow-legged so as not to show it too clearly in his pants either.
He stashed the script in his pockets. Soon, he was going to have something much more exciting to watch than a bunch of paper!

(Other writer's welcome to include chapters or other avenues/items to use.) Various situations that share the theme of being manipulated by voodoo dolls and other such devices, and watching them move to the user's whims, through either unawareness, mind control, or even through being to perform for the holder of the item. Other forms than dolls are presented (Altering a picture of the subject may count for example) so long as the remote manipulation aspect is kept.
