As I walk down the hill away from Alfira, I conviently see Shadowheart and Lae'zel re-entering the grove with a friend in tow. I jog over, and as I approach, I see that they both look a little roughed up.

Tav: "Whos your new friend?"

Shadowheart: "This is Karlach. We had to go and bash a few paladins as a show of good faith."

Karlach: "Good to meet ya soldier. Dont worry though, they werent REALLY paladins. They were ACTUALLY servants of Zariel."

Tav: "Wow, thats... a lot to unpack..."

Lae'zel: "I expect Karlach will make an excellemt companion. She is strong, speaks her mind, and you are unable to fuck her."

Karlach: "Ahh, this is the horny commander! Dont worry soldier, it aint a slight on you. Im just too hot to touch is all. I'd probably melt ya little cock off by accident."

Lae'zel: "If the druid Nettie's screams were any indication, he is quite capable. Perhaps I will have a taste myself and report my findings."

Karlach: "Ha! Much appreciated! But, speaking of reporting...?"

Tav: "Yes lets talk about something constructive please"

Lae'zel: "Very well. The road to the goblin fortress is clear. There was an ambush in a town on the path, and we made a small detour to complete Karlach's request."

Shadowheart: "Dont forget to mention that group of ogres you persuaded to fight for us."

Lae'zel: "It is not relevant."

I raise an eyebrow and Shadowheart mimics sucking dick by moving her hand, and pressing her tongue into her cheek. Glad that I am no longer the subject of the girls chatter, I keep the conversation going.

Tav: "Any news on this Halsin character?"

Karlach: "The rats around that fortress say the goblins killed him."

Lae'zel: "And ate him."

Tav: "Unfortunate.

Shadowheart: "Since he's dead, theres no cure to be found. Do we just move on?"

Karlach: "Hey, I aint down for leaving these people to die!"

Tav: "Agreed. We may need the connections should Lae'zel's Creche not work out."

Lae'zel: "Tsk'vaa, you doubt my kin like a fool. But very well, you may plan contingencies."
