Scott's secondary mutation

It had been a recent discovery. A next level of mutation that occured after the main collections of powers that a mutant recieved at adolecence. Archangel had developed a healing factor in his blood that healed him and all of those with his blood type. Emma could transform into a diamond form that was impervious to psionics.

Like those powers, Scott's new powers of his secondary mutation didn't seem to have a link to the power he had of Optic beams from his eyes. It was a subtle form of mind control. It would make people more submissive to her, more persuaded by his arguements, and if they were a woman they become more attracted to him. It also seemed to have an easier time with converting psionics and those that were already submissive or attracted to him.

It also had a staying effect. Scott guessed that it was psionic in nature, but it seemed to hold even in Emma's diamond form. Still giving him control.

That was why Emma and Jean had fallen quickly for him. Thier psionic powers and their desires for him had become a trap that they had been caught in.
