Chapter 4 by Drawn54 Drawn54

Which version?

Scholarly Princess Zelda (Breath of the Wild)

Zelda slumped onto her desk with a sigh. She wasn't getting anywhere.

Calamity Ganon was prophesized to awaken soon, and she didn't have the power to seal him. Since time was running out she decided to use ancient relics of the past to stop him instead. But all this information about them was so confusing, it was difficult to wrap her head around. She was an esteemed scholar, knowing many things about this civilization, but when it came to handling their technology it was as if she was any other person. At least she got a hang of the Shiekah Slate, and that was about it for now.

Her bodyguard Link watched over her the entire time, which only made her more embarrassed. He never talked, so Zelda had no idea what he was thinking. Was he secretly mocking her for not being able to get this? Unlikely, but impossible to verify. If it weren't for the king's orders she would have him out of the room as soon as possible.

Zelda groaned. Was there an easier way? She had spent so much time on this that her head was starting to spin, and her vision was even getting blurry. She had heard of things like this, the mind often had a large impact on the body. Extended periods of stress made your body more susceptible to diseases caused by foreign bacteria and viruses, and was generally bad for your mental health. Maybe she just needed a break or something.

Zelda tried to get up, but found herself stumbling. She was lucky Link was there to catch her or she would've hit the floor. She must've been feeling more sick than she realized, so maybe it was a rest she needed instead. She wobbled her way towards the bed, barely able to move with each step.

Then she started feeling hot? Maybe she had an actual fever or something. Her clothes were starting to feel tight too, almost like they were getting smaller around her body. Or maybe she was just getting bigger, it was hard for her to see what was happening. She heard a snap and suddenly she felt free. Hopefully that wasn't her clothes falling off, because she started to feel a bit of a breeze.

And then, as suddenly as it started it stopped. Her vision just returned to normal in a snap, she suddenly wasn't feeling dizzy anymore, and she could stand up just fine. Zelda was puzzled, she had never heard of stress doing this before. Link seemed to be shocked, quickly turning his head between her and someone else. Wait, why was someone else in this room, and why was she naked!?

Zelda was shocked to see that she wasn't the only Zelda in her room.

How many Zeldas were in her room?
