After speaking to the council Fury went to go see Steve Rodgers at a gym where he was doing a workout to keep in shape as well as to work out his sexual desires whom he hadnt really felt since the 1940s and Peggy Carter.

Captain America is running through the forest, dodging mortars, gunfire and the Tesseract's energy firearms. He sees this almost as if he is reliving it.

"A half frozen Steve Roger is lying down on a medical slab. Two S.H.I.E.L.D. Scientists run over hi-tech devices to see if his vitals are up. And it seems..."

And then the S.H.I.E.L.D. Scientist said, "This guy is still alive!"

Back in the gym.

Nick Fury moved closer to Steve as he said, "Trying to save it." Fury hands Steve a file on the Tesseract, along with other files on HYDRA'S projects. Not knowing that H.Y.D.R.A. wasnt as dead as they thought but they wouldnt know that for a while.

"Hydra's secret weapon." Steve said as he looked at the file.

"Howard Stark fished that out of the ocean when he was looking for you. He thought what we think, the Tesseract could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. That's something the world sorely needs." Fury informed Rodgers.

"Who took it from you?" Steve asked.

"He's called Loki. He's not from around here. There's a lot we'll have to bring you up to speed on if you're in. The world has gotten even stranger than you already know." Fury told him a little about what this is about.

Steve replied, "At this point, I doubt anything would surprise me."

"Ten bucks says you're wrong. There's a debriefing package waiting for you back at your apartment." Fury told him.

Steve turns and picks up a punching bag. Starts walking out of the gym.

"Is there anything you can tell us about the Tesseract that we ought to know now?" Fury asked him, as he watched him walk out.

"You should have left it in the ocean." Steve admitted.
