What happened the next day?
Rivals at War
Thursday, September 17th.
Logan walked along the hallway with Heather and his other friends. He noticed that Heather was in a pretty good mood today and he guessed that last night had a lot to do about it. The same things that had him thinking.
Last night after their parents had sent them to bed Kurt had managed to convince Logan, and then Heather, to take a look around the house to make sure that everyone was asleep and then sneak down to the game room for some fun. As they toured the manor they first came across his parents' room. That's where Logan found out that his parents seemed to enjoy some role-playing, with his mother playing the part of a naughty, but complacent secretary and his father a stern disciplining boss. After that they had continued to prowl the house and almost got caught when they saw his Aunt Brooke heading towards his Uncle Robert's room, barefoot and wrapped in a very short robe. They were about to follow her when they were spotted by their Aunt Sophia who promptly sent them back to their room. He remembered how giddy Heather had been hoping that her parents were getting back together.
But now Logan seemed a bit lost in thought about last night and the lack of sleep after hanging out with Kurt and Heather until 3 in the morning. So much that they forgot to turn in their hallway for their next class. Their friends had to call them back, they had just started to turn around when they heard a ruckus from down the hall. Logan turned around in time to see Kendra, Dylan, and Matt pushing and tugging another kid.
Logan quickly saw that it was Gavin they trying to drag into the girls' locker room and nobody was trying to help the poor kid. Without thinking, Logan sprinted forward and barely heard his friends call his name. He shoulder-checked Matt who stumbled back and fell on his ass and then pushed Dylan back. "Let him go!" Logan cried out.
Dylan quickly recovered his balanced and when he saw Logan his face twisted in rage. "You fucking piece of shit!" He yelled and swung his fist to nail Logan on his jaw. Logan stumbled back and barely managed to block the second fist. Matt was now up and circling him when he heard a gleeful roar off to the side and watched Charlie tackle Matt to the floor.
Logan and Dylan grappled for a few moments, each one trying to get the upper hand over the other. It seemed that the whole hallway was one big fight. From the corner of eye, he saw Charlie fighting with Matt, Andrew Nordstein clocking some else from behind, and Heather, Dustin and Victoria dragging Gavin away from the fight.
Logan felt someone grab him from behind and drag him back at the same time he saw a professor grab Dylan and pull him back.
"You fucker!" Dylan yelled. "You fucked my girl! I'm going to fuck your girls! You hear me Logan! I'm going to fuck your girls!"

Later that night TattleRock updated their Azure Rock High School column
We have a rough update on Tuesday's post about our special girl. Looks like bad boy Logan Ravers poached Dylan Bennet's girl. She must be one smoking hot babe, and really good, or really bad, for these two rivals to go to war like they did this afternoon dragging half the school into a real rumble. Will Dylan make good on his promise to poach Logan's girls? Yes, that's in plural, girls. Well, they say everything is fair in love and war.

Logan sat in his sofa chair in the living room of the Ravers Manor with his mother perched on the armrest holding a bag of ice over the bruise on his cheek. The cut on his lip had stopped bleeding back at school and it looked like none of his teeth were loose. he looked around and saw his entire family around him, the women all looked concerned about his fight but Daniel and Robert sent him approving looks and his father seemed proud of him. Off to the side, Kurt seemed to flip from amused to jealous at the attention Logan was getting.
"What were you thinking" Audrey chided him.
"I had to do it," Logan said. "I had to stop Dylan."
"But honey did you have to get in a fight?" Audrey asked him. "and why did he say what he did? did you really steal his girlfriend?"
"I didn't steal his girlfriend." Logan said "I swear I didn't. But I did start a rumor about him and about what he did."
"Why would you do that?" Daniel asked him.
"You said it dad." Logan said " They were running loose and the school wasn't doing anything about it. I had to do something. You said it Sometimes we do what we have to do not just what we want to do."
Audrey and Daniel shared a quick look at each other and seemed to read each other minds. They both shared a small smile as Daniel nodded 'yes Logan is the one to follow us.'
