Rikku

"Thank you, you have selected Rikku. Enjoy."

You feel the entire VR suit tense up about you, then your vision goes white as you get the sensation of flying through the sky. You're suddenly blinded by the dark of night, and as your eyes begin to take focus, you realize that you're falling forward off of a small balcony in an alley, towards a young blonde-haired girl who appears to be cornered by a large thug.

You land on the ground and quickly roll to your feet. During your roll, you realize that you are carrying a sword.

"Hey!" she yells. "Help me!"

Wasting no time, you dash at the brigand, who turns and flees. You hurry to the girl. Though she appears to be uninjured, she is leaning hard against the side of the building. "Are you alright?" you ask.

She looks up at you, and you are mesmerized by her eyes, which appear to swirl before your very eyes. You extend an arm and help her to her feet.

"I am now, thanks! That bully was trying to take my money, and who knows what else. But you saved me. You're quite a hero, aren't you?" She smiles playfully.

"I'm Rikku. I don't have a whole lot as far as a reward, but why don't you hang out with me for a while? If nothing else, I'm sure we'll have a good time!" She continues to flash her playful smile, but gives you a wink suggesting that she knows why you stepped into the VR machine.

"I'd like that," you reply.

"Great! So where to, hero?" She grabs your hand and intertwines your fingers with hers. "Lead the way!"
