Rem

In front of me is a character I have seen before today. Rem is standing in front of me in her typical maid outfit.

She puts her head to one side. "Haven't we met before today?" she asks. "Ah I remember, you were at the supermarket with Ram" she says cheerfully. "Won't you please come in?"

Rem opens the door and I step inside. In the large hallway, 2 more maids stand ready and bow to me. On one side is the lanky figure of Rey from Star wars. On the other side stands Ai Hayasaka from Kaguya-sama: Love is War.

Both are wearing outfits similar to Rem Maid's, but which are slightly different from her's. "Good evening sir," they both say and stand back up.

Rem closes the door behind me and comes around me. "Please come with me to the dining room. Master Reginald will be with you in a moment. He's just freshening up." Rem leads the way and I follow.

"This is a very large house" I say to her as I look around. "Yes, my master really has taste" she replies and we enter a rather large hall.

"Please sit down" Rem says and pulls back a chair for me. I take off my jacket and sit down. Rem stands next to me. Rey and Ai also follow us into the dining room.

"Would you like something to drink?" asks Rey humbly. "A Coke please," I wish. Rey immediately walks out of the room. I look back at Rem. "It's good to see you again. I never thought you belonged to Reginald."

Rem chuckles briefly. "I didn't realise I was looking at my master's guest either. Has Ram recovered somewhat?" I nod. "I gave her a Rem Body Pillow as a gift. She's been cuddling with it all evening."

Rem's face turns a little red. "I'm glad to see she's doing well. You seem to be a kind master. So does my master. Otherwise, I'm sure he wouldn't have invited you."

Just as Rem has spoken, the door opens. I turn and see Reginald coming into the room. Behind him, Sylvanas follows, grinning at me.

"James glad you could make it. Sorry for the short delay. I hope my maids took good care of you?" he asks, spreading his arms. I stand up and walk to him. "Yes very well in fact. Rey is just getting me a drink" I reply and shake Reginald's hand.

At that moment Rey comes into the dining room with a tray. Without saying anything she puts a glass on the table and pours me some Coke. Then she steps to the edge.

"Thank you," I say to her. She bows without further words. "Come let's sit down" says Reginald and he, Sylvanas and I sit down. The maids all remain standing in the room.

"Ai, can you let Alice and Asuna know that we would like to eat soon?" asks Reginald to Ai. "Yes master" she returns and leaves the dining room.

"So James how did you fare with Missandei and Rosalina" Reginald asks, smiling at me. "Missandei has fitted in very well already. Rosalina too, though she's still too new. She'll be fine. How are you doing with Cercei and Peach?"

"Peach is a darling. She's settled in very well already. Cercei... well you know her. She still needs some discipline."

We continue talking for a few minutes until the door opens again and Asuna Yuuki comes in with a trolley. She places the plates in front of us. "The First Course is a simple onion soup, homemade herb butter and homemade bread. Have a good appetite" she says and bows. Reginald, Sylvanas and I dig in.

After the delicious starter, there are 2 more courses before Ai and Rey clear the table with the help of Asuna. "I hope you enjoyed the food?" Reginald asks me. "Yes, it was very tasty. Thank you for that. Did I mention that I met Rem here in the supermarket?"

Rem looks at me a little red in the face. "No, I didn't know anything about that" Reginald says in amazement, looking from me to Rem and back. "Master I didn't know who he was" Rem returns immediately. Reginald gives a short laugh. "That's no problem Rem, how could you." Rem takes a breath.

"My Ram met Rem. She was out the first time and had thought it was her Rem. She helped Ram and brought her back to me." "So she is my good Rem" says Reginald. "I've had her for a few years now. She's not my headmaid for nothing."

Rem looks away sheepishly. "Ram is also my headmaid, though so far I have only her and Missandei. If you've had her for a long time, what's Rem's instance number?"

"247," Reginald answers proudly. Wait a minute 247?
