The next three days in the hospital were uneventful, all nurses were giving you increased attention and were really friendly, and yet... none of them went as far as Supergirl did. You got a feeling that if you would try to seduce one of the nurses, you would succeed but after missing the chance with the perfect woman, ordinary human ones didn't hold any serious interest for you.

Your body was healing nicely, the pain was almost gone, and doctors promised to release you the next day. Around noon you received an incoming video call from an unknown number. You accepted it after a brief hesitation and saw Supergirl's face on the screen.

"Hi, John, right?" she said with embarrassment written all over her face. "I think we have something to talk about."

"I guess we do," you said puzzled by her call. It seemed like her love for you wasn't there anymore so the pheromones must have worn off. "What is it?"

"First, I wanted to apologize for my behavior in the hospital. I... I was under the influence of... well it's what I want to discuss with you. Do other women act strangely around you, too?"

"No, they don't confess love out of nowhere," you decided to feign ignorance and keep pretending that you know nothing about your powers.

"Are you sure?" she asked, looking surprised. "you see, a friend of mine found some very interesting residue on my costume. On the spot where..." her face went red, "your hand was..."

"I don't understand," you said as you continued playing dumb

"There was human sweet, as expected. Mixed with a substance somewhat similar to pheromones of Poison Ivy..." She sighed, "You probably don't know who it is but it is unimportant. What is important is that this substance makes you irresistible to women. Well, at least Kryptonian women..." Supergirl's blush was getting even deeper.

"So, do you mean you are still in love with me?" you asked, trying to decide how to act now

"No. Not anymore. Effects gradually subsided in... somewhere around 48 hours," The cuteness of her blushing face was so unbelievingly cute. "are you sure that human women are unaffected?"

"Well," you decide that it is time to tell more truth "nurses in the hospital were extra friendly. But as I said they didn't confess love or try to seduce me or something like that."

"I see. Looks like you somehow got some powers and either they are either always on or you use them subconsciously."

"Subconsciously?"

"Yes, it is a possibility. Human males find me... you know... very attractive. You felt a desire and acted on it without realizing it," she smiled in a very friendly and yet shy way "BTW, thank you that you didn't **** the situation. It was very noble of you."

"Or very stupid," you thought before saying out aloud "It was the only right thing to do."

"Thank you again. Anyway, you have powers now and may need some help adapting to this. Mind if I come to discuss it face to face?"

"Uhm, Isn't it dangerous? I mean won't you be affected again?"

"I'll take necessary precautions," she smiled yet again, "At worst, I'll spend another day crying like a little girl. So, Can I come?"
