What's next?
Randall cracks
A few days later, as you were in the library with Jennifer during lunch recess, Sean and his girlfriend quickly came over and slid into the seats across the table from you two and leaned in. "Hey, did you hear?" He looked from side to side to see if anyone was listening in before he leaned closer to the two of you. "Ms. Santos and Ms. Card got into it today during 3rd period."
"No shit?" Jennifer whispered and then covered her mouth to mask her small laugh, Lisa, Sean's girlfriend, didn't even bother to hide her amusement. You just blinked at the two of them before turning your attention back to Sean.
"It was wild, man, I never thought I'd see someone become so unhinged and just start going in to someone else." You supposed this might happen, the text messages going unanswered the past several nights had been something you were, at first, feeling a bit guilty on. You even got up the nerve to hop into your car and drove over to where Randall was living to see if the two of you could hash things out. All of that, though, went out the window as you spotted Mr. Hansen's car parked in the driveway. You didn't even need to wonder what he was doing there, at 7 a.m. on a Saturday, and promptly any desire to talk with Randall went out.
As for Allison? You just handed your phone to Jennifer when she tried to call you and the joy of watching your oldest female friend tear your former close friend a new asshole was glorious. Women were vicious, you knew that already, but just how deep it went was, until that moment, a hidden secret. Not any more.
"What happened?" you asked quietly, looking at the books in front of you (2 were for an assignment in Santos' class).
Before Sean could even think of answering, Lisa felt it was something she needed to tell as only she could. Apparently, Card had waited until an off-period for the two of them before she walked into the room and the two had a heated argument. It wasn't readily apparent to the reason why exactly you came up but the fact that people heard "Connors" and "Tim" and "he wanted to transfer" surfaced along with the "bitch" and "skank" and "milk-dudded hooter cow" that Santos threw out at Card. Your eyes went a bit wide and Jennifer had to **** back a louder laugh as Sean hopped in and mentioned that Hansen had to come into the room as their yells were echoing down the hallway. Apparently, he found Card with a bunch of Santos' hair in her hand and Santos, for her part, had ripped Card's jacket and a few buttons were missing.
"...after that, there was no way either would be permitted to stay and both were sent home. I hear the superintendent is coming down in the next few days to see what is going on." Sean looked at you. "Man, can't believe you pulled that one off, Tim."
You sighed. Lisa slapped him on the shoulder. "You can't blame Tim for this one. We all know something's off with Card this year, she's just not the same type of teacher like last year. She lost Randall and now Connors goes and transfers? It's only fair to him, it's his last year, he needs to get his grades up." She winked at Jennifer who blushed slightly. "Besides, that bitch Allison didn't do any favors either, did she?"
By the end of lunch, the rumors had made their rounds around the school, especially when people heard that your name had been the key topic of discussion between the two teachers. You pled innocent and the fact you were studying with Jennifer in the library cleared you in most people's minds, though not all. Allison glaring at you openly told you that she read between the lines but instead of trying to figure out what was going on, Jennifer came and slipped her arm through yours and the two of you walked out of school and headed to the parking lot. Only when you got there to her car, though, she turned and looked at you.
"Can you tell me what's going on, Tim? Why does it seem Allison knows more than I do about it?"

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
