Professional Therapy Baby

Paulette took the car and made her way to the Queen Bee Daycare Center for Children of All Ages.

Queen Bee was one of several community centers in the infantilist colony. It did what a lot of community centers were for: staging events and meetings, potlucks, an exercise room full of weights and equipment, voting machines during elections and so on. As the name would imply, Queen Bee also acted as a free daycare center for parents to drop off their kids when they were busy, and being an infantilist colony meant that they also took care of adult babies. Feedings, playing, diapers changes, the works.

While the daycare center was open to all, there were times when it was needed for specific people who had special needs. That was when they needed a professional therapy baby, and Paulette was that baby.

The job description was actually very simple: be herself. Having lived in this town her whole life made being a baby come naturally to her. She had volunteered to be a test-baby for classes on newly arrive parents to take care of their adult babies. She'd been in a daycare center full of people had only just been put back into diapers and were in need of someone to help ease them into it gently. One time she was even brought out of town when TeddyCon came to their state, acting as a sort of spokesperson on behalf of the town.

There was a part of Paulette that felt a little dirty, confused on how she could get paid for something so easy. Of course it also filled her with some sense of pride when she gave tips or got cooed at when she did something cute.

It didn't pay much, but still living with her parents and taking community college classes online made her willing to take such a job until she found something better.

Besides, being a Professional Therapy Baby made her a contributing member of the community in her own special way.
