Link goes to see Malon, she might know a way to help.

As much as Link would want to try and find the woman who caused this weird mess, he also knew that was a long shot. Instead, it was better to see someone who knew about horses. And who knew more about horses than Malon? After packing up his things, still getting used to the fact he had a woman's upper half and a horse's lower half, Link headed off towards Lon Lon Ranch.

What struck him right away was how natural galloping across the grass of Hyrule Field felt to him. The grass under his hooves, the wind in his hair, the power in his legs...it was so different from just sitting on Epona's back and letting her do the work. By the time Link was entering the gates of the Lon Lon Ranch, he felt energized and in-control in a new way that he was loving.

It wasn't hard to find Malon, she was just getting around to taking water out to the horses when Link approached her. "Hello, ma'am-" she started to say until she started staring at Link's body. Then, looking terrified, she asked, "W-what are you?!"

Feeling sad to see his friend so scared, Link explained everything to her: the fortune teller, the potion, touching Epona, and how he'd woken up. For a moment, it looked like she wouldn't believe it, but then she smiled at him. Feeling better already, Link asked her to look him over and see what she could find out.

She took to the task right away. Apparently, inspecting new horses's was a common duty for her on the ranch. Her hands in Link's fur felt nice, but the way Malon inspected his hooves felt a little invasive. Even worse was the last thing she looked at, namely Link's rear end. Things got very personal back there, making Link uncomfortably aware of his new private parts. "You look like a healthy horse, as far as I can tell. Though you are in the middle of estrus. For now, I think..."
