Breakfast

With the tour of the gym now complete, the girls made a beeline towards the front of the gym. Passing by Misty's room, only to stop at the next door down.

"This is my room." Lily explained and pushed open the door. Inside, the room had been painted a bright shade of pink with the floors going for light hardwoods. "It's also the kitchen, for better or worse."

Misty let out a chuckle, getting a slight poke from her sister in return. In a way, she probably deserved that for her remark. After, her gaze turned to the kitchen part of the room.

Birch cabinets hung to the walls, with grey appliances. Pictures hung by magnets from the fridge, reminding the gym leader of simpler days. She closed her eyes for a brief moment. To her surprise, memories from before came rushing back in.

"Mom?" Misty thought, unclear what was going at the moment. Just needed to get to the bottom of it.
