After school

I was indubitably a master of disguise. Even out of the womb, my mother questioned whether I was her child.

And this afternoon I was using my skills to the fullest.

"This order is for table 9." I saluted my pseudo boss. Grabbing the tray of junk food and walking out to the Junes food courts.

Their they all sat. Whispering words to each other. I moved close to them, knowing my disguise was fool proof.

I had shaven homeless people and used their hair to make a great beard. It was genius really.

"So we all saw the midnight channel last night," said Yosuke. He was Yu's second in command. Midnight channel? What was that?

"Yeah," said Yukiko, "I was watching Harry Potter, and then the TV went all fuzzy and Kanji showed up in a bathrobe." Wait, they meant what happened on TV. Around midnight... Okay that made sense.

I listened intently as they explained that the Midnight channel which only came at Midnight on rainy nights originally started out as a rumor of showing peoples one true love. Apparently they had discovered something different. That people who showed up on the midnight channel were being murdered. Which wasn't even the most odd thing. The gang began to speak about going into the television. As if it were normal.

"So we agree we are going in tonight," said Yu. It was the only words he said all night, but his words were instantly accepted by the group.

"Yup," they all agreed. My plan was working perfectly.

"Hey is that our food," asked Yosuke, "get over here before I talk to my dad." I rushed over, Yosuke's father owned this store, and I wouldn't be fired on the first day. Sham job or not.

"Uh," I stumbled, "Uh yes my good fellow student, um, fellow man. I'm much to old to be a student." I handed them their food and moved away.

"Jeeze that kids beard stinks," said Yosuke.

"He seemed oddly familiar," said Chie.

"Well," said Yu, "anything else we should know before we conclude this meeting."
