I turned towards Chie. She was more crucial to the plan than Yukiko.

"I know you're busy," I said. Chie stared at me. "So I will save IP Man, and the Kobe beef until you are free."

Chie seemed conflicted, for just a moment until she couldn't hold back any longer.

"Deal," said Chie, "but, it isn't a date. Not a date date, anyway." She blushed as the students of the class began to stare at us.

"Of course not," I said, "I could never get a girl as cute as you." Chie turned away as her face caught fire. Whispering to herself

"He's so, forward." I could see disappointment in Yukiko's face as she stared at the front of the classroom. That was fine. I could use that to my advantage.
