An Alliance

Daemon II sat in Highgardens Great Hall, listening to Olenna go on about how Robert was a Terrible King, and that his Son Joffery was even worse than him. So an Alliance was Formulated, Daemon II would Wed Mace's Only Daughter, Margery in exchange for Tyrell Military and Financial Support in addition to the Three Hundred Thousand Dothraki, and God knows how many Unsullied at their Disposal. He decided that he would have to take the throne if only to appease the Tyrell's. But House Targaryen still had Two of Roberts brothers to deal with On top of The Lannister Backed Joffery. And after news had reached them of Ned Starks beheading, Daemon II knew that the Northerners would not stand down without a fight, and a Bloody one at that.

He also knew that the Tully's would Back the Starks so if he could gain their Allegiance he would gain the Tully's in addition to the Starks. The Realms were almost ripe for the Taking. What he needed was a Crippling defeat against one of the Brothers to send his forces reeling and running for their homes with their dicks between their Tails. Daemon II had also known that Joffery was in a rocky Stand-off with his Younger Brother, Roberts Probably only legit Heir, Lord Steffon the Second. This meant a possible alliance with the New Lord of Storms End. Of course that left the Greyjoy's, they were the Wild Card, and a Dangerous one at that. He agreed to the Pact and after Using his Connections in the Iron Bank gained several hundred Thousand Ships to transport their Army to Westeros they would Land first on Dragonstone a symbolic Caoture dor House Targaryen as both he and Dany were born there, and he loved exactly the same that Aegon the Conqueror did about it.

So now as he arrived in Pentos he sent word for his Men and Other Forces, Daenerys as well to Board and rendezvous at Dragonstone.
