Leave a Calling Card

You decide to leave a calling card. You're not ready for public recognition, but maybe it's time to start laying the foundations of your origin story.

You see a stationary shop across the street and enter it. Looking around, it takes you a minute to find what you're looking for: a sharpie.

You go back to the thief handcuffed to the lamp post, and draw 5 interlocked rings in the pattern of a circle on his forehead. Next to it, you write: Courtesy of the Ringer.

Satisfied with yourself, you activate the invisibility ring and restart time.

The police officer and woman are still talking, unaware of the now apprehended criminal. The thief is shocked to find himself back at the scene of the crime and handcuffed to a lamp post. He starts shouting for help, inadvertently drawing attention to himself.

The officer and woman look at the thief, puzzled at what they are seeing.

The woman sees her purse that you had left on the ground, bending down to pick it up. After looking through it and sure that everything was still there, she smiles, wondering how it got there. You were tempted to reach over and grab her ass when she had bend over, but decided against it.

The officer is now questioning the thief, and at some point realizes that his handcuffs are missing from his waist. By now, a few people have gathered to see what the commotion is about, and several are taking pictures of the thief's forehead where you had left your calling card. You secretly hope they post those pictures on social media. Maybe the evening news will pick it up?

Happy with the results of your vigilantism, you decide it's time to move on. Before you leave, you take a risk, stepping in front of the woman and giving her a light peck on the lips.

"Hmm?!" she grunts, surprised at the brief sensation on her lips, unsure if she had imagined it. You grin to yourself and teleport away.
