Sitting in the kitchen, you turn on the news as you eat. You didn't expect your good deed to make the news; it was just a snatch and grab anyway. Plus, the police wouldn't know what exactly to make of your calling card yet. No, if this is going to take off, you'll need to make people notice you.

When the news cut to advertisements, you see the promo for the newest episode of 'Arrow.' It is one of your favorite shows, and is portrayed realistically enough that makes it believable that someone could actually be a vigilante. In fact, the costumes are really simple, and that gives you inspiration.

Finishing your sandwich, you run up to your parents' room and start digging through their wardrobe, searching for your father's black leather jacket. You find it tucked in the back, where it looks barely worn. It really didn't suit his style and your mother and sister always made fun of him whenever he dons it.

Back in your room, you try the jacket on with a white t-shirt and black jeans. It fits perfectly. You check yourself out in the mirror and you look like a total badass. One more thing to complete the look. After tossing around in your cabinet, you find what you're looking for. It's a souvenir from a massive Halloween party a couple of years ago, when you had gone as Zorro. You're glad you kept the face mask. Putting on the mask, you take a selfie on your phone with the entire ensemble. It was no green arrow or batman, but it would do. You are the Ringer now.

You hear the front door open and shut. It's getting dark outside and you don't need a family member catching you in this outfit right now. So, you decide it's time for your virgin outing as a superhero, and activate the teleportation magic ring...
