Vicky finds someone important

Zack laughed as he watched Victoria watching the fish. Her actions and her giddiness reminded him of a small child at Christmas. Each tank was her favorite until she got to the next one. She read every sign and absorbed every piece of information.

“Ever been here before?” Zack asked her.

“Once. When I was five! Don’t really remember much about it. When my brothers came along, they kind of ruined any chance of a family outing,” Vicky sulked.

“Well, enjoy it. Anything you want to see, we’ll do it. You want to see one of the movies, no problem. You want to see the seal feeding, you got it. Name it and we’re there.”

“I want to see everything!” she informed her friend.

“Well, we can do that. And if we don’t, we can come back as many times as it takes!” replied Zack as he held up his family’s membership card.

“Really? That’s awesome, Zack. I’d come here every day if I could!” Victoria announced before becoming completely distracted by the occupant of one of the fish tanks.” LOOK! THERE HE IS! I FOUND HIM!”

“What are you talking about? Found who?” Zack puzzled as he read the description of the orange and white stripped fish in the tank Vicky had become obsessed with.

“HIM!” she exclaimed.

“Amphiprion ocellaris, the common clownfish. Nice!”

“He’s not just a clownfish Zack! HE’S NEMO!” Vicky shouted, drawing the attention of a few of the guests.

“Oh my God! This is too funny! Get in there for a picture!” Zack instructed the laughing girl as he snapped a picture of her with “Nemo”.

“I’m at the aquarium with Vicky,” he texted Ashley.

“How is she today?” she replied back.

“She’s beyond excited today. She found Nemo!” Zack captioned the photo.

“OMG! My bestie is such a dork! LOL!!! Glad she’s having fun. Thanks Zack!” Ashley commented.

Zack was about to show Vicky the conversation he was having with Ashley when another text came in.

“BTW tell V she looks gorgeous in that dress!”

When Zack showed her the texts, Vicky laughed at her best friend’s comments. She then took out her phone and rattled off one of her own to Ashley.

“So I’m a dork, huh? NO SOUVENIR FOR YOU!!!”

After the jovial time she had at the clownfish exhibit, the two teens continued to explore the ocean habitat displays. Vicky had brought her new camera, but the lighting of some of the aquariums prevented her from taking any decent pictures. It did not prevent her from trying though. When they got to the touch tank, she got a good one of Zack getting splashed by a stingray. After that, they watched two of the aquarium staff members feed the harbor seals, the pair headed towards the shark tank.

“WOW! They look real scary!” Vicky exclaimed.

“Actually, they are harmless to humans. They’re called sand tiger sharks, no relation whatsoever to the very dangerous tiger shark,” Zack informed the blonde.

“But LOOK at those teeth! They look like they just want to tear my arm off!”

“They won’t do it, their mouths are too small to do any real harm to humans,” Zack stated.

“Well that’s good to know! One less shark to be afraid of,” Vicky wrinkled her nose at the thought of the aquarium shark’s bigger cousins.

"Okay, what do you want to see now: A movie or the outdoor exhibits?” Zack asked as they came to a crossroad in the aquarium.

“We saw a movie yesterday, let’s head outside for a bit, so I can get some pictures,” Vicky chose.
