Vicky decides

The rest of the evening went by quickly. Zack and Vicky watched a little bit of television and then talked about what they’d do the next day. Zack insisted that Victoria pick what she wanted to do, however, she was adamant that it was Zack’s turn to decide. Eventually they just began saying anything that came to mind. They tossed several ideas back and forth but could not agree on anything. They finally decided to wait until morning and then just go somewhere. After their turns using the shower, the pair said goodnight to each other, crawled into bed, and fell asleep.

The pair awoke the next morning and set down to breakfast. That morning’s fare consisted of breakfast cereal and raisin toast, which the two washed down with coffee. During the meal, Zack and Vicky continued their discussion about what to do with their day. Still undecided, Victoria headed to the shower.

“Oh. My. God! He’s so cute!” Vicky moaned as the hot water splashed over her body.

A light bulb went off in her head just as Zack stepped from the bathroom, all clean with a freshly-shaven face.

“Did you clean up the sink?” Victoria cast a playfully suspicious eye at the brown-haired boy.

“Sure did, Miss,” Zack grinned.

“Good. Are you all set? I know what we’re doing today!” Vicky exclaimed.

“Oh goody! It’s about time you made up your mind!” Zack responded. “What are we doing?”

“As soon as I’m finished, we’re going to the aquarium!”
