What's next?
Family buisness revealed!
"Ah, but of coruse! Introductions!"
Starfire clapped her hands once and swooped in between Liam and Raven.
"Raven, this is Liam. He is our master's son!
Liam, this is Raven. She is my dearest friend!"
"Debatable."

Raven muttered, although she didn't look unhappy from Starfire's comment.
"Anyway, you being our master's child doesn't explain why you're here. This place is off-limits for everyone except for our master and mistress."
"Right."
Liam vaguely recalled him always being led away from going downstairs to this floor when he was young.
Back then, he hadn't thought much about it.
But now it seemed like there was a reaosn behind that prohibition.
"Oooh! Oooh! Young master, tell Raven about the super secret special delivery!"
"The what?"
Raven scowled.
"It's nothing special, nor secret. Here."
Liam handed her the letter.
Raven scanned the paper at a surprising pace, then sighed as she handed it back to Liam.
"I see."
"See what? It's time I get some answers here instead of blindly going from one maid to another."
Liam demanded.
Raven looked at him in silence for a few seconds.
Liam had a feeling that she was sizing him up.
"Liam—can I call you Liam?"
"I prefer it over 'young master'."
Raven nodded and started to walk down the stone hallway.
"Liam, how much do you know about your parent's job?"
"Not much, I'm afraid. All I know is that it requires much manpowers to maintain it."
"Then take a guess."
Raven suggested.

Liam glanced at her to find that Raven was giving him a light smirk.
Something about that smirk felt condescending, as if Raven was handing him a quiz and she was positive that he'll get it wrong.
That touched on Liam's nerve.
If Raven had been his own Character, she might have been punished thoroughly—but since she was his father's and not his, Liam had no choice but to take the challenge.
"Well..."
Liam racked his brains.
He doubted that Raven was just messing with him and asking an impossible question.
Something about what he had just said must contain some sort of hint to figure out what the family buisness was.
Liam thought back on when he was young.
Countless Characters that bustled around the mansion.
Some, like Rem, were more focused on taking care of him and keeping and eye on him while the others always seemed to be busy.
Then, Liam realized something.
'They are all maids...'
No matter what kind of Characters they were, every single Characters in the mansion was tailored to be a maid.
And that led Liam to form a plausible guess.
"You're taking care of something, or someone. Mulitple."
Raven raised her eyebrow, silently telling him to continue.
"That's why every Characters in here was a maid.
It wasn't just for aesthetics, it's because whatever our family buisness is, you need dozens of hands that are capable of caretaking."
Liam glanced towards Raven.
Raven's lips slowly stretched into a smile.
"I'm impressed, Liam. You went as close as you could with the information you know."
"Yay! Our young master is not only handsome, but he is also smart!"

Starfire threw her hands up into the air as if she just won a game of Family Fewd.
"Wait, so then...what does my father do?"
Liam asked.
"You know how Characters above Class A+ or more need to be neutralize before they are sold?"
"Yeah? I thought RealDreams did that right after they pulled out a dangerous Character from theur world."

Raven rasied her hand and formed a sphere of dark energy around her hand.
"On a ground level, sure. But some Characters need extra modification.
Some people may want the Character to be completely safe... or defenseless, depending on who you ask."
Liam listened silently.
"And that's where we come in. We receive a portion of those partially neutralized Characters and store them here unti someone places an order."
"Then what happens?"
Starfire swooped in from the side and answered Liam's question before Raven.
"Then, we take them to the hospital so they won't be mean anymore!"
"After that, we post them to the address..."
Raven stopped in front of a giant metal door and placed her hand on it.
Her dark energy was absorbed into the left side of the door and lit up the carvings like an ancient ritual.
"Star. The right door, please."
"Of course!"

Starfire hummed to herself as she formed a green orb of energy above her hand and pushed it into the right side of the door.
The door absorbed the energy, lit up in the carvings on that side... and the door slowly opened on its own.
Liam's eyes widened once he saw what was inside.

Rows and rows upon stationary pods, each with a silhouette inside suggesting that a Character was held inside them.
"Are they all...?"
Liam asked.
"Yes, they are all Characters. As I've said, A+ or higher class.
Even with their powers inhibited to some degree, if one of them manages to break out of this facility, it'll be a disaster."
"That's why Raven and I can use our powers! Only at full strength during emergencies, though."
Starfire did a few loop-de-loops in the air.
"Okay..."
Liam looked around the rows of pods.
It all felt so unreal, as if he was watching a Sci-Fi movie.
"And as for the 'Super secret special delivery'..."
Raven flicked her hand.
A spark of dark energy traveled through the air, grabbed a pod on the third height and gently lowered on to the ground.
When the energy faded away, the pod activated its hovering system and kept itself aloft a few inches off the ground.
"...we need someone to take this delivery to the—erm, 'hospital'."
Raven glanced at Starfire before giving Liam a smirk.
"If, you're up to the task, that is.
So, what do you say?"
