Assessing the Situation and discoveries for the future

Makoto, after a monstrous task of getting everything back to normal, made it back to his room and locked the door. He wanted some alone time to think what was next and see what all he had now. He opened his handbook, and first made his way to the girls’ profiles. He saw that the actions for each girl had now changed as they got updated. He read his new actions,

Current Action Status: Must Complete an Action in 24 hours

• (1) Kyoko Kirigiri – Get her in a room with 2 other naked girls without using Cleanup Time

• (1) Sayaka Maizono – Make her jump three times in a row without any triggers

• (1) Junko Enoshima – Have her give you an honest compliment

• (1) Celestia Ludenberg – Have her kiss both your feet triggerless

• (1) Aoi Asahina – Make her see at least 3 other girls swimming without her being in the pool herself

• (1) Toko Fukawa – Make her wake up and find you sleeping next to her

• (1) Sakura Ogami – Beat her in a weight lifting competition

Makoto analyzed for a bit and began thinking, some of these were definitely harder than the last ones, but it didn’t seem as daunting as he had raised his time limit to 24 hours, meaning he can be a lot more lenient and carefree, he can now more freely help the others while at the same time, reaping some rewards for himself. He wasn’t liking how often these line of thoughts were coming to him, but he was working harder than everyone else to keep them alive so he convinced himself that he deserved it.

But he had two other things to check out, firstly he saw that the Monokuma icon in his handbook was glowing, he opened it to see that a red box had been unlocked, apparently he had accidently completed an action without even knowing it. He went over to the box to see what he completed, “Unlock a total of 7 Triggers”, Makoto didn’t even realize he was accidently going for this action all along on his journey to unlock a trigger for all the girls. Makoto tapped to see what this unlocked, “Triggers of any girl can be turned on & off by pressing a switch in this tab”. “Oh, uh……okay”, Makoto wasn’t sure how exactly this was useful but at least he had freedom of option for now.

This reminded him, “I should have a look at the triggers I unlocked for each girl just now”, Makoto thought as he made his way to their profiles and read their triggers one by one,

Toko Fukawa’s Triggers:

Lost in your eyes (Passive): If you stare into her eyes for 5 seconds, she will start fantasizing about you and will behave as if she has the biggest crush on you, this lasts till you look away from her for 5 seconds.

Aoi Asahina’s Triggers:

Puppet on strings (Active): If you clap, a bit in front of her face, she will act as a puppet with your words acting as the strings. Telling any of her bodyparts to do anything will make them do it without her even paying attention to it or what you said regarding the part, but will become aware if taken to an extreme level. (Only works for 10 minutes at a time and has a cool down for half an hour)

Sakura Ogami’s Triggers:

A Spy for a spy (Passive): Psst! Here’s a little secret, this big chick was a traitorous spy amongst ya’ll for the mastermind, won’t it be nice for a vice-versa? Check on her from time-to-time to find more (Trigger can’t be exchanged, turned off etc.)

Makoto basically got a grasp with the rest of his current situation but what he read last for Sakura left him with the most amount of questions he has ever had upon coming here,

She was a spy for the mastermind? If so, who wrote this trigger? Was it Monokuma? If yes, why would he reveal this? And vice-versa, as in he can now get info out of her of the mastermind? Why would the mastermind allow this? Is this trigger fake? But all the other triggers worked, why would anyone controlling Monokuma want this?

Makoto knew, there was only one way he was getting answers to any of this, he needed this trigger to work once, he planned to interact with Sakura tomorrow, making sure she had ample time to get as useful info for him as the trigger would allow. Till then Makoto didn’t want to sit idle, he wanted to distract his mind after the revelation he got, and might as well make some use of the rewards he unlocked via his hard endeavours to do so.
