Liam Miller, a guy in his 20s who just moved out

Liam Miller was a regular guy.

"Okay, that'll do it for now..."

At least, as much as one man could be in a world where there was basically infinite energy and infinite "man" power— man in quotation marks because those were not considered to be human beings.

Pushing aside that moral grey area, today was Liam's big day.

He had just moved out of his parents' house, finding a new nest just for himself.

Age 20 was just around the corner, so he flew out of the nest a few years later than what was considered to be average... but nobody really blamed him for that. Not even his parents.

It wasn't like living costs were high nowadays—if it cost anything at all.

Liam looked around his house.

It wasn't anything too big, probably fit for 3 people to inhabit, which was his choice.

If he wanted, he could've asked「Eden Nest 」, one of RealDreams's countless subsidiaries, for a bigger house.

It wasn't like he was paying rent, after all.
The sole reason he asked for a smaller house was currently in his hand.

With this ticket that came with his relatively smaller house, Liam could get one Character from Class B (or lower, if he wanted), usually for Characters that were both high in demand and supply.

A.K.A., a famous Character that needed little effort to be captured.

Liam hummed to himself as he scanned the voucher onto his phone and scrolled through the list of Characters available.

He was proud of his choice. Who cared if he lived in a smaller house—everyone knew that by now, it was most important to have a higher-ranking Character with you than anything else.

After several minutes of scrolling, Liam finally made up his choice.

He placed an order through the RealDreams App, and a few minutes later, the front door AI assistant spoke up.

Liam stepped out of the couch to open the front door.

Sure enough, his first Character was standing on the front porch of his house.
