So what shocked Condiment Wizard?
A gutted space ship
Condiment Wizard looked around in awe at the space ship he was in. It clearly had seen better days, as there were signs of battle everywhere. Blast marks were all over the place, and pieces of the ship were hanging on by a thread in the ceiling and walls. It was clearly a fixer-upper but one with alien technology barely functioning, but alien technology all the same.
Not to mention, despite all the damage and missing parts, the ship was huge. He saw massive buildings scattered about and several domes that had plant life growing out of the holes where the roof was supposed to be. It was like finding an ancient crashed space ship and a lost city deep in the Amazon jungle at the same time. All he could do for a long moment was continue to stare in awe of it all.
Klarion took in Condiment Wizard, looked, and spoke. "It was that loser Overmaster's city spaceship before all those heroes jumped him and fried him with his own stuff. " Klarion said in a mocking voice. This caused Condiment Wizard to turn to him rapidly, wanting to hear what happened. "They then got the place to build their space station. " Klarion said, gesturing at the holes in the ship that were clearly empty of whatever was supposed to be there.
"What did Overmaster do?" Condiment Wizard asked clearly, eager to hear of the dark deeds of a villain with such a large spaceship. Especially if the league had come to gather to not get him but killed him as well to be safe. Klarion looked back at him with a wide happy smile as he answered the question.
"Nothing much just stopped life and death while condemning all life on earth to death." Klarion said surprisingly Condiment Wizard greatly, as that meant he was standing in the lair of a villain that had been his own apocalypse. "Can't do that ourselves, though the party poopers dismantled all his doomsday devices for spare parts. " Klarion said with a disappointed sigh.
"Well, if we can activate the doomsday devices and the ships have been gutted, why are we here?" Condiment Wizard asked a bit confused, as he wasn't someone that could undo the damage done to the city ship and its weaponry. It was an awesome thing to look at, but he didn't think his new friend Klarion was one to take him sightseeing.
" Simple this places it just to keep you from freezing why we conjure the mother of all storms. We'll show you can throw lighting better than their precious Zeus. Let see what those gods have to say when your throwing lighting better on taller mountain then theirs. They'll be green with envy!" Klarion said, making it clear they were doing this as a petty form of revenge.
Which sounded neat to Condiment Wizard, especially for this one; he'd be an active participant instead of being on the back line doing chores and wondering what's going on up front. "Well, I'll get started, and then you think one of those taller buildings would be a good place to use my magic ketchup?" Condiment Wizard asked Klarion for a good place to start his magic.
"Of course, my friend, I actually let me help you up there." Klarion said opening a portal and putting the Condiment Wizard on the eighth floor of a taller building. He then blasted the stairs so there was no way to get to Condiment Wizard without flying. Condiment Wizard didn't know what was left of the stairs, which were blasted as he was too focused on creating his magic mustard and building it up to where he needed it to be.
Klarion and Teekl watched him work for a moment, then left to check the surrounding area for any interesting things. You never knew what could help create even more chaos. Though he was determined to do just that, how could he not? Teekl followed after him with a sigh, not happy about leaving Condiment Wizard alone but wasn't going to make a big deal of it. So the two went on their little mini adventure.
Meanwhile, the condiment wizard was putting more and more ketchup into a ball hovering in the center of the room he was in. He didn't have any place to store it. Condiment Wizard smiled to himself soon enough he was going to create a the greatest storm cloud from his ketchup he can't wait to see what he could with such a thing and who would come to stop him it was going to be epic the thought putting a wide smile on his face.
Swamp thing moved carefully through the swamp, as he had done for days now. He was constantly on the move for the last couple of days, being in the strong position of prey. It was not normal for him, and he wasn't sure what to make of the feeling it gave him, but in the end he was tired, so he endured it. though he had become far more concerned with stealth than before.
This strange situation had started because of the incident a few days ago. He took no joy in killing Condiment Wizard, but he had no choice. As he felt things long dead coming to life as part of the green, he knew immediately the danger of that. Rather intentionally or not, the condiment wizard could bring back the parliament of trees. Which would have horrible consequences.
He'd been forced to kill them all long ago when they were gone mad. They wanted to take over the world, and we're willing to have every tree on earth turn into a killing machine if that's what it takes. Luckily he's been able to stop that, but he has taken no joy in that task either. He'd work with the parliament of trees for decades, helping maintain the plant life of the world.
So when he felt it was possible to bring them back, he went and dealt with the situation. Though the looks of betrayal and rage from the Batfamily at what he'd had to do. He hadn't considered after leaving Gotham Woods the fallout of his actions. He'd left thinking he destroyed a friendship; instead, he'd started a war. The three dryads that had been there hunted him relentlessly.
This point was proved once again when wooden spikes shot at him. He took cover as the red dryad continued to fire on him. "You can't hide there forever!" She roared away as she fired unending barrages at him. He was forced to retreat and found himself dragged underwater by a crocodile with wooden spikes growing out of it, making it obvious who'd sent it.
"Having fun with my friend, you green fuck!" Red dryad roared with a happy blood thirst. Swamp Thing uses his body's ability to grow and shrink to get out of the crocodiles' grip. Underwater and alone with a stunned crocodile swamp thing, he made his escape down through the water, the red dryads' spike fire following after him.
He'd made it bit down the way waterways of the swamp. Once he was a fair distance away from the red dryad, he stopped and got his bearings, looking around to see exactly where he was. He stood on the roots of trees for a moment, looking around. Then out of nowhere a dozen crocodiles covered in spores dragged him underester once more. Swamp thing suddenly found himself being torn in a dozen different directions.
The spores tipped him off that the yellow dryad was nearby and entrancing the crocodiles to get him. It was harder to get out from the crocodiles' bites, with so many of them having their teeth buried inside of him. In the end he was successful, but he was missing several pieces. He moved through the nearby roots of the swamp trees and ended up in a totally different part of the swamp.
He kept moving carefully knowing the dryads weren't far behind him and that he didn't know where the white dryad was. As if answering his thoughts, dozens of naked women appeared, rushing, screaming, and their heads off as they tried to run him through with sharpened sticks. They weren't effective, and so he spent several minutes throwing naked violently a woman away from him.
White Dryad showed herself with another wave of naked women to throw at him. "Destroy him, tear him apart, you useless bitches!" White dryad roared as the next wave went through them at the swamp thing. He sighed, finding himself tired with this whole situation and wishing these dryads had anything better to do than chasing after him.
