What next
Lisa tries to pull in Natalie to the teasing
Natalie didn’t join in, but she didn’t shut it down either. She shook her head when Lisa teased her about being too quiet, and even let herself take another sip when one of the bottles was offered in her direction. The burn wasn’t as jarring now that she knew what to expect, and left her feeling a little bit looser with each heavy swig.
A few more rounds passed between the guys and the girls, sending the bottles changing hands. Lisa’s cheeks had taken on a faint flush, and her giggles sounded a little more sultry as she flicked water at one of the two guys across from her, who happily splashed her back.
“You two are trouble,” she teased, shaking water from her face.
“Maybe, but we’re the good kind,” one of them shot back. His friend leaned forward on his elbows, openly scanning what he could see. “Seriously though, you don’t look like you belong out here with us. You look like you belong in Vegas or something. You’re too good for this place.”
“Vegas, huh? That’s a new one,” Lisa gawffed.
“I’m not kidding,” he said, giving her an appreciative once-over. “You’re gorgeous. Both of you are. Best thing that’s wandered into this hot tub since I’ve lived here.”
Lisa tipped her head at the flattery. Then she gave them a mock-suspicious look, but kept her voice light. “You realize you’re laying it on pretty thick for a couple of guys who look like they could be my son’s age.”
That made them both whistle. “No way,” one protested, quickly shaking his head. “There’s no chance you have a son that old.”
“Yeah,” the other chimed in, grinning. “If you’re telling me you have a twenty-two-year-old kid, I’ll never believe it.”
She raised an eyebrow with a pleased expression. “Yup,” she replied, tossing her hair over one shoulder. The wet tips whipped out from where they’d been trailing in the water, spraying across Natalie’s face.
Natalie let out a startled gasp, blinking fast as the drops stung her eyes. “Oh, God- Lisa!”
She half-stood, laughing, and turned without thinking. She knelt with her knees on the built-in bench, and reached for the towel hanging on the rail that wasn’t far from her. Water streamed off her skin as she bent over the edge. The movement had the added effect of lifting her butt up out of the bubbling surface, pulling the black bikini bottom so it was drawn taut across her curves, and the thin strings dug into where they sat.
Her fingers found the towel, and she brought it to her face as she rubbed at her eyes. Behind her, the sounds from the men became a little more hushed. Then a sudden smack landed square across her ass with a loud crack over the sound of the jets. Natalie dropped the towel with a yelp, lurching forward and bumping into the edge of the hot tub. She could instantly feel the color rush to her face and neck.
Lisa’s laugh burst out immediately at Natalie’s reaction. “Would you look at that,” she said, turning toward the men. “She’s been hiding the best part all night.”
The men whooped, one letting out a low whistle and the other grunting his agreement. “It’s an amazing view, for sure,” one said, grinning broadly.
Clutching the towel, Natalie turned to Lisa with her mouth hanging open, half shocked that her best friend just did that in front of these two strangers. “Oh my god, Lisa!” she said, but there was no bite in her tone.
Lisa simply grinned mischievously. “What? You should just take the compliment.”
Natalie pressed the towel to her face again, trying to hide the blush while she composed herself. But the words and the attention, along with the way Lisa had so shamelessly offered her up, all buzzed through her. After years of marriage, she still wasn’t quite used to being looked at so openly, not without guilt trailing behind it.
Yet here she was, every part of her aware of the way the men were likely taking every opportunity to check her out. The drinks, the steam, the attention, it was all going to her head in a way that she knew could quickly become reckless and dangerous. She draped the towel back over the rail and slid down into the water again.
“You’ll survive,” Lisa teased, bumping her shoulder lightly as if she knew exactly what was running through her head. Natalie responded with a shake of her head, feeling her pulse race from the mix of everything going on.
“Survive?” one of the men echoed. “We’ll be the ones lucky to survive, because that view we just had? That was a view to die for.”
His friend scooted a bit close to Natalie. “Yeah, your friend here’s been holding out on us. It’s like they say: it’s always the quiet ones.”
Natalie shook her head, trying to brush off the attention, though she was well aware of the effects it was having on her. “Don’t start with me.”
“Too late,” the first guy said, lifting his bottle toward her in a mock toast. “There’s no going back after that. You’re gorgeous, and it’s not fair we’ve been paying so much attention to just Lisa.”
Natalie ran her hands over her hair, wetting it slightly, and pulling it over one shoulder. The motion lifted her chest just enough to show thin triangles of her bikini shift as her breasts moved with her arms. She smirked at their stares as she settled back into the water, not calling them on it. The two traded a quick glance, clearly pleased with themselves and their luck, while beside her Lisa nudged her leg under the water, conspiratorially.
“See? She’s been holding out on us,” Lisa declared.
The one who had scooted forward readjusted so that his knee was brushing lightly against her leg under the water. There was nothing casual about the gesture, and the expression he had only served to confirm that.
