Wedding planning

(Roos's POV)

I need to broach this carefully, guys don't like this kind of stuff usually, but we need to make a plan for our wedding. Doubly now that it is a quest. Dammit, I will need to include Pig in it as well, filthy well Pig. As we enter the building, I answer: "Yes, we have a wedding to plan, don't we?"

"Sure, that sounds like something we need to plan. Do you know how big you want it to be and who to invite?"

"I want what of your family you are comfortable with to come to my mom, my brother, maternal grandparents, our friends, your girlfriends as friends of ours...." I struggle to say the last bit, but he waits patiently as he sees I am struggling. "and Pig."

"I can see where you are coming from on most of those. I wasn't expecting you to want to invite Pig."

"For better or for worse, the app tells us she is a part of your harem. I hate it, but I do want to make it to all who are involved with you that I am your wife, the boss of the house, not any of them." Maybe spelling out the quest reward would help him accept it.

As we walk into the apartment, Pieter grabs a notepad and starts writing. "If you put it like that... Sure. I hope she will be on her best behaviour. She is always talking behind people's backs, even if she is so subby, she is a brat. Cool to phrase the guest list concretely, Madelon, since most of my uncles and aunts abandoned grandpa and grandma, I don't care for them. Antionette, Bernard, your maternal grandparents, Bart, Robin, Anne, Jullia and Pig, I would want Jessica to come as well, not all my colleagues, but Jessica feels right." I nod, I know he is one of the few full-time staff there for two reasons, one, he is a great cook, and two, Jessica took a chance on a kid who had left his parents in an abusive situation with 0 official skills and made him the chef he is now. "That is all of them, a cosy wedding with a small group. We can complete it at the municipality if we want to. For the party, we could book a small place, or, if we time it right with the renovation, even our place. Depends on what you want."

"Our place would be nice. It is central to all of them, or at least more than a place somewhere near here." He makes notes. "I don't think Mom will let us get a dress or suit elsewhere."

"Only if I make my suit. I think no-one elses are as good as hers, she says. She might be right on that part. But that is one more reason to think about it being either next year somewhere, even if it is spring or summer, depending on what the contractor says. Not that I am necessarily going with him, but I would like to do a vibe check on it if I could. Wait, maybe the new neighbours would also want to come."

"I am fine with all of that. Should your harem fill a special role?"

"Bridesmaids and Bart, Robin and Bernard as groomsmen. Do it American style?"

"I don't like that. How about we ask all of them to plan some kind of surprise as a group afterwards?"

"Yeah, that seems fun. Catering and wedding cake, I can convince Jessica to let me prep in the catering kitchen and borrow some staff, I think, as long as I pay for their hours."

"Music?"

"I can figure that out. Incidental clients of work do events, so a DJ and a dancefloor for outside should be possible if I ask them."

"Flowers?"

"I don't know in the garden?"

I chuckle: "So you are not a one-stop shop for weddings. I will ask mom for help, and I know a few florists who could help."

"Events in general, I know a lot of people. I have been helping out with catering for 12 years, so that is not a problem. But set dressing and flowers are not my thing."

"I think we have a rough draft of what we want to do then. Just need to fill in details like flavours of cake, what flowers and when. Now I haven't had sex in days and am reeeaaaaally horny and need some release, so please take me to bed."

He leans in and responds: "Sweetheart, you have not done the groundwork to claim that. You have not done all of the things you should do when you enter the apartment. So why should I give in? Why should I fuck you? I will not do too strenuous stuff, but if you want sex, you need to at least do the things we agreed upon. If you aren't up for it, we won't." Why does he have to tease me in this way? Why do we need to do this dance?
