Tania Goes Out

Tania raided her, mostly conservative and lecture appropriate, wardrobe and threw on the closest ensemble to what Lacey had described that she could muster, before examining herself in the mirror.

The prodigious student felt appalled with herself. She was a respectable young woman who had come to University to work, not the slutty airhead she was currently presenting as. And why? Because her friend told her she should, and a fairy had **** her to follow every decision other people made on her behalf? That made no sense at all!

Nonetheless, she found herself rushing to be ready to get to the lobby by 8 pm. If that was where Lacey said she should be, Tania was going to make damn sure she arrived there on the dot. Her mind was also racing, urgently trying to find a way to snap out of this dangerous compulsion to go along with decisions made for her by other people, which she realised could very quickly escalate into something way worse than an unwanted night out. Unfortunately, the fairy's magic seemed too powerful for her to resist.

"Oh my goodness, you look so fucking hot!" Lacey gushed as her friend arrived, right on schedule "You should totally dress like that all the time"

"Okay, I will" Tania agreed.

"Nice! Let's head to The Loft. It's cheapskates' night, so we can get super drunk"

"Sure"

"Wow Tania, I don't know what's gotten into you today, but I like this new carefree attitude of yours!" Lacey smiled.

Tania's heart was thumping against her chest as the Uber pulled away from the safety of the University halls of residence and the books she was supposed to be hitting that evening, and towards a dive bar she wouldn't normally be seen dead in. The Loft was a total meat market, a place where students went to get drunk on cheap booze and fuck each other in the nearby alley afterwards. It was so far from where Tania wanted to be it was unreal.

"Here's a fun idea!" Lacey piped up during the ride, while Tania wished she would just shut up already "Seeing as your taste in guys kind of sucks and you only usually go for dorky dudes who aren't nearly hot enough for you, how about I pick someone and then you have to go chat them up? What do you say? I know it's a little outside your comfort zone, but I think you should do it"

"Okay"

"What, you'll really go along with that? And it can be anyone I choose, no exceptions?"

"Yes, if you think it's a good idea"

"Oh my God Tania, you are a legend! I never knew you could be so much fun" Lacey clapped her hands joyfully "You and I should do this kind of thing way more often from now on!"
