The Girl of Your Dreams

Maisie seems to think that is the end of the matter. Having dropped a nuclear sized bombshell on you, leaving you to battle all the inner demons she has just unleashed in you, which are very strongly urging you to do all kinds of depraved things to her with your new power, she is back to texting. She really, genuinely thought that she could casually give you complete and utter freedom to do anything you want to her, then tell you never to do anything, and you wouldn't! Well, if that's how she sees you, maybe it wouldn't hurt to keep it that way.

"Maisie"

"Uh-huh?"

She only half answers, and you know from experience she will only be half answering for as long as she is texting back and forward with that fucker, which could be all afternoon. Maisie can be so thoughtless and self centred sometimes. You always tell yourself she is your dream girl, but in reality she is the only hot girl who even talks to you, and she has some very nice qualities combined with others that are annoying or completely incompatible with you. You decide to try again.

"Maisie, look at me and concentrate on what I am saying" now you have her full attention "Maisie, you will continue to believe that I will never use your curse on you. You will still hear and follow all of my orders. However, you will forget they came from me and instead believe the effects happened naturally, were always present or were caused by someone or something else. No matter how **** the effect, or how suspicious I look, you will never think I have done anything to you"

Maisie pauses for a moment and looks a little lost, like she knew she was thinking something but it has completely slipped from her mind. She then goes back to texting. It's time to see if your command worked.

"Maisie, you don't like that guy you are texting at all. You think he is a real loser, and find him physically repellent. You much prefer spending time with me"

Maisie looks annoyed. For a second you are worried that didn't work. That she heard what you just said and assumed you were trying to hypnotise her with your new power. But it isn't you her anger is directed at.

"Ugh, why won't this creep fuck off! I'm trying to enjoy spending time with my friend" she throws her phone down in disgust "He thinks I am going out with him tonight, but there isn't a chance in Hell. I don't even know why I agreed to it in the first place. I'm going to cancel. Hey, that means I can hang out with you this evening instead. We can spend the whole day together!"

She sounds excited. This is amazing.

"Right, lets go then shall we?" she smiles enthusiastically at you as she opens the car door. Ah yes, the river walk. You hate river walks, but Maisie likes them and you like being with Maisie, so you do them a lot. But really you would much prefer to just go home and play video games. She would never do that with you though, she considers them dorky and childish. But perhaps..

"Maisie, you don't enjoy river walks that much. You much prefer playing video games, in fact you love them just as much as I do. And all my favourite video games are yours as well"

Again, Maisie looks confused for a moment. Then her enthusiasm for your walk seems to have gone.

"Hmm, I dunno. On second thoughts it looks like it could rain" she predicts. It totally doesn't "Maybe we could do something more indoorsy?"

"Well, we could head back to mine and play video games. I just got Pokemon Legends"

"You got Pokemon Legends?! Then why did you drive me to the stupid river!" Maisie slaps you playfully on the arm "This is going to be sweeet! We can just hang out and play video games together all day!"

On the drive home, you are feeling happier than you thought it was possible for anyone to be. Masie really wasn't your dream girl, and she probably still isn't. But she is going to be.
